"The fixtures and fittings were in very poor shape especially in the living area and the bathroom. We had to be very careful using old electrical appliances and avoiding falls. On the positive side, the room was large, the beds were comfortable and the bed linen was fresh and clean. Fresh bath towels were provided every day. Breakfast and occasional meals were satisfactory."

"I came for my fathers funeral. We live right behind the hotel but it was too crowded at the house so I booked a room here. The owners offered free rooms for those who came for the funeral but I booked via Expedia so that I could feel as if Im supporting our local businesses. The service was top notch and friendly. "Great location, with an easy walk to the markets, and town. Reception staff were lovely and helpful. Rooms were small but comfortable. "Wow!! Winnies B&B became my home away from home. The place is so neat, tidy, clean and so comfortable. The owner was just so hospitable, warm and kind- pretty much a mom. Nothing was ever stolen or missing and felt so comfortable leaving my stuff when leaving. The staff cleaned up after us and even did our washing so that when we came back we could just relax. "I was visiting a friend volunteering for the Peace Corps just down the road so my location was critical. Was pleasantly surprised upon arriving at the White Sands resort. "Not a place to stay if you like hot or warm showers. There was hot water sometimes, but never when I wanted it. Not satisfactory for what they are charing.
