"Loved the location, it is just steps from the Royal Mile and lots of attractions. The Tolbooth Tavern nearby was a great find. The building itself is really good as well. There is are lot of stairs, but also a lot of space which was very good for our famiy stay. The building does need some updates (ie carpet on stairs looks dingy, and there are banged up walls in the stairway is likely from lots of travellers). "Great given the price. The people at the front desk were very nice. When we arrived early (due to our flight) they let us leave our luggage at the hotel and told us they could check us in 3 hours early if we came back at noon. Just a heads up, right now they have a deal that if you order through their site you get free breakfast! Not sure if that deal is still on but we saw signs/posters for it :)"
