"The hotel lobby was nice. The bar was nice. I never got to the pool. Our first night it took us several hours to get service at the restaurant. Seriously understaffed with untrained help. But they still charged us €70 for the meal. The soup was good but not that good! I must have hit my head 2 or 3 times a day in the room - it had a low ceiling! Great central location for haupfbahnhof!"

"Although my son and I booked a twin room we found when we arrived there was only doubles. After 30 minutes frantically trying to sort out a twin the reception staff managed to get us one. I think they moved two twin beds from single rooms into a double room and took the double bed out. The staff were lovely and the hotel is very nice although a bit expensive. We visited when 200,000 Scotland Supporters were in Munich so the Hotel was extremely busy."

"Likes: Right in front of Munich Train Station, access to lots of shops, restaurants and near Marien Platz, has a restaurant and bar. Room is bigger than most Europe rooms. Excellent water pressure and shower. Dislikes: Dirty area as its in front of a train station, hallways are a bit dark, ac not working or weak (good luck in summer) and price is higher than average. "This hotel was perfect for our last night in this area. It was right across the train station which we needed as we were taking the train to Frankfurt. This hotel was within walking distance to restaurants, shopping, and the Der Munchner Dom church (beautiful). I actually liked this area personally better than Marienplatz (too busy)."
