"Lucas and his brother were awesome hosts helping us out with everything from airport pickup to suggesting tours and providing good and affordable food. The location of the hotel is at the less busy side of the avatar mountain park, which makes it idyllic. You can walk to the park entrance in 5 minutes. The rooms are simple but nice and clean. "This property was fronted by the river and close to shopping and many restaurants. Fortunately for me, it was also close to the medical clinic. The staff was kind. They lent me a walking stick and returned a borrowed wheelchair for me. When we had to depart earlier in the morning, they accommodated an earlier breakfast. "Location of the hostel is very good. Walkable to the Zhangjiajie National Park entrance. Overall room wasn’t that clean. The washroom had that typical smell and I saw a few stains on the bed sheets. There are only stairs but highest floor is only 5 or 6 I think. Overall it’s just a cheap acceptably clean place to stay near Zhangjiajie National Park."

"Hard to find place. The taxi dropped me by a gate and said 'in there somewhere'. Had to ask 2 or 3 people to eventually find the hotel - but convenient once you know where it is! A lot of confusion on check-in, but eventually sorted out when the lady called her daughter who spoke good English. Didn't like the 'hole in the floor' toilet, but otherwise clean."

"The staff was friendly and polite; however, the room was not the cleanest nor the most comfortable. The carpet was pretty stained up and the bathroom only had 1/4 a roll of toliet paper.
