Friendly hotel with a handy location
We had a wonderful time at the hotel celebrating our grand daughter 100 days old. Had an upgrade to the executive apartment which was enormous. The Chinese restaurant is one of the best in Xi’an. Highly recommended is their signature deep fried flounder dish. The decoration of the fish was a piece of art. Would stay there again next time when we visit Xi’an

I liked how close this hotel was to the metro. This made it very easy and convenient to get around. Also, there was a Starbucks a block away. It doesn't open until 7:30am but is good size and has friendly staff.

It’s downright next to a train station which is 2-stops away from Bell Tower. Very accessible to malls, eateries and supermarket. Feel very very safe in this area.

I only chose this hotel due to the brand. It was in a favourable location, and with my previous excellent experiences with Sheraton brands I chose this hotel immediately. However my stay was worse than any other hotel stays I have ever had in my life including 2-3 stars hotels. First, the room is filthy. There’s dust everywhere in the room, especially collecting at the corners, near doors, near walls, on lamps. Secondly, the person manning the eggs section at breakfast gives such an attitude and acts like we murdered her family. She made our breakfast experience such a poor one. Also, the breakfast is terrible!!!! We go down for breakfast around 1-1.5 hours before it ends everyday AND THERE IS ALWAYS NO FOOD LEFT. This hotel does NOT replenish dishes/fruits when it depletes so you either go for breakfast Super early or you are left with the scraps. It is so ridiculous I wonder how can the manager let this happen? I have never experienced this before. We pay for breakfast and there’s nothing to eat! Even the tea is stone cold!!! So Everyday all we drink is cold tea and we had to make do with whatever little that’s left. Then there’s one day where we had to leave the hotel early to go for a tour. We missed the breakfast so we asked to have something to take away with us. We specifically asked for some fruits e.g. banana. There are 3 of us and all we got is a little brown bag with one yoghurt, one croissant and one sandwich. Not even one banana. Lastly, wifi is unusable

My family stayed this hotel for three nights. Location was good, just near the subway station. My problem was the hotel amenity. The description of our specific room at Expedia included the following sentence: “Practical - Sofa bed, safe, and free newspaper; free cribs/infant beds and rollaway/extra beds available on request”. The room did not have a sofa bed. There was a plain sofa that did not covert to a bed, but was sizable for an adult male to sit, especially not acquainted for sleeping. We were a three people family and booked for three. We clearly asked for sofa bed or a rollaway bed, but no requests were fulfilled by the hotel. The hotel was available to provide us with extra bed, but only with a heavy extra charge, 350CNY(50$)/night. I have requested to Expedia for a reimbursement for extra charges that was supposed to be included in our hotel amenities. I’m still waiting almost a month for a response from Expedia.

Recommended hotel in Xi'an
The hotel is located in central area and the entrance to the metro is just next to the hotel. It is along the metro line 2 which brings to most of the tourist attractions within the city. We booked a suite and it was very luxuriously furnished. For the price we paid, it was excellent value for money. This hotel was noticeably old. The spread at the buffet breakfast was decent but they constantly ran out of utensils. Also, towards the later half of the breakfast, some of the items were not topped up. The Wifi was ok but from time to time was slow. The service staff was warm and prompt. So, overall the stay in this hotel was great.

Absolutely superb hotel and was a great price. In Beijing now and staying somewhere much more expensive and it's not even close to the Sheraton in Xi'An. Cracking hotel. Only minor thing is that it's a bit out of town, but subway and taxis are easy. Recommend if here, and good access to roads to the terracotta warriors if you're going there. Concierge was excellent, perfect English and extremely helpful during our stay. Overall one of the best hotels I've stayed in, thanks to the team for making it an enjoyable stay. Just wish we'd stayed longer to enjoy the pool and hotel some more. Thumbs up for sure!

Great stay
The location is very good with a metro station right next door. There are a few malls around including a supermarket. Hotel also upgraded our room. Apart from the unfunctioning wifi in the room which resulted in having to change to another room, everything else is great.

Typical Sheraton standard hotel, with good location, next to metro station. However they have weird policy of no photo taking in their restaurant, and staffs were quite rude when conveying the messages resulting in very bad dining experiences.

Double charging. We have booked thru expedia, fully paid online while booking. Upon checkin at hotel, reception asked for deposit and we gave our credit card. We did not consumed anything in room. After 2 weeks, I find from my credit card statement that Sheraton also charged for my stay. Reported Expedia, few days later they inform me that they could not speak to hotel staff as no one in hotel could speak English. Still pending follow-up from Expedia. Don't how long this issue will drag. Just few days ago, a popular flight ticket platform Zuji has closed down. Disappointed with Expedia and Sheraton and keeping fingers crossed.
