Dear Anonymous Thank you so much for being our guest and for taking the time to write a review. We really appreciate it, when our guests help us to improve our service like this. We are happy to read that you have enjoyed the food in our restaurants and that you liked our view and location. Our hotel is located in a monumental building and therefore we are not allowed to make any (big) changes, like, for example, air conditioning. This is why we have ventilators available for all rooms. We are very sorry, this was not prepared in your room upon arrival, this should have been there. As we were preparing for a wedding, I am assuming that you arrived on a Saturday. On Saturdays and Sundays, we give our guests the opportunity to sleep in and enjoy breakfast and checkout until noon. A lot of guests appreciate this and also checkout first at noon. This is why we guarantee our hotel rooms no earlier than 03:00 pm. Our Housekeeping-team is always doing its utmost best to clean all rooms as quick as possible, but as you have experienced, also on Saturdays a lot of guests arrive earlier and unfortunately, we cannot have all rooms ready earlier. We would love it if you would give us a second chance and if you plan on arriving earlier, please let us know in advance, so we can clean your room as soon as the prior guests have checked out!
