"First of all, the staff is absolutely amazing. Courteous, friendly, professional. My room was a bit of a mixed experience. It was spacious and well appointed, but the carpet was wrinkled in a way that it looked like it hadn’t been laid properly. "We have stayed at the Rheinhotel Dreesen many times and the staff is without fail friendly and helpful. Rooms are spacious, pretty, fastidiously clean, and very comfortable. The breakfast spread is wonderful and you're dining in a spectacular room with huge windows looking out over the river and across at castle-topped hills. It's definitely worth springing for a room with a balcony on the river if you can swing it -- gorgeous sunrises, glittering lights at night, boats and swans passing by....

Good hotel, would recommend.
"Pleasant hotel, good location and it was clean and quiet. My room overlooked the courtyard out the back which was nice. The only 'bad' thing I could say would be that the room was quite warm, I had to put the air-con on at night and open the window during the day. I think the hotel must be very well insulated as the only radiator I could find was a very small one in the bathroom which wasn't even on! I took the duvet out of its cover as it was too hot. I didn't have breakfast at the hotel so cannot comment on that. The bed laptop table was useful as there wasn't a desk in the room. I recommend this hotel."
