I researched extensively to find a hotel that was safe for an older couple and in the heart of things. Las Tigras was a wonderful choice. We walked everywhere with so many attractions and shopping all around. Immaculate rooms and great service!

Staff was excellent! However, room was small and furniture outdated with small shag rug. Floors were clean but felt sticky. Need to print directions for using A/C. Didn’t care for the mounted bottles of soap/shampoo.

We were greeted by front desk manager with delicious chocolates and VIP drinks for our wedding anniversary celebration. We stayed at Das Tigra Hotel for 4 nights. The staffs at breakfast and room cleaning took great care of us everyday. The service is much much better than everywhere else we went in the touristy areas in Vienna. The neighborhood is extremely convenient. It was a 5 to 10-minute walk to all major tourist attractions, shopping, restaurants, and concerts. I highly recommend choosing Das Tigra Hotel when visiting Vienna.

Perfect location near the most popular tourist spots. You can walk anywhere. Many choices for food, shopping and fun. I love the hotel, the room was super spacious and clean, comfortable bedding and i have Netflix. The personal were very polite and helpful. I loved my stayed.

Hotel Das Tigra
We had a lovely stay at Das Tigra, conveniently located to city centre . The breakfast was excellent .The only unfortunate thing was the Chambermaid staff did not pay attention to detail, eg requested non feather bedding but feather pillows were on the bed, Tea and hair products were not replaced daily.The cleaning of the bathroom was not up to standard. However the front of house staff were very attentive and remedied the issues . I would return if these issues are addressed.

Had a great break to Xmas markets just before Xmas
The hotel rooms were clean and well laid out, beds incredibly comfortable and storage was adequate for the 2 suitcases we had with us. There was a wide variety of breakfast selection, to satisfy any european or american needs. plenty of restaurants nearby for meals after breakfast. The staff were particularly helpful, friendly and approachable. Not much communal space, with a small bar. Hot and cold drinks available in the communal lobby area which was convenient when returning or setting out, and a variety of sweets.

Lovely hotel in a great location
Lovely small hotel in a great location. Good sized comfortable room with good tea and coffee making facilities. We stayed 3 nights and had different biscuits/chocs left each day. Bed was slightly too firm for our tastes but I’m sure the majority would find it okay. Shower was over the bath but reasonable pressure. Breakfast was really excellent. Amazing choice on food and drinks and if you don’t see what you want, ask the amazing staff. Returned to our room on Saturday to find an invitation to a free hot punch in the bar. The event was well attended and we were also given plates of beautiful biscuits. Every member of staff we met throughout our stay was so happy and friendly. When they realised it was my husband’s birthday we were given Prosecco with breakfast and a bag of chocolates were left in our room - really nice touch that was much appreciated. My only slightly negative comment would be that when I made the booking I agreed to pay at the hotel. The payment was actually taken from my credit card (without warning) 7 days before our stay.

The hotel's location is perfect. It was a short walking distance (less than 5 minutes) to Weinachts Markt am Dom and Altwiener Christkindlmarkt. Another 8 minute walk and you are at St Stephanplatz! Another up to 10 minute walk and you are at Museum Quartier, Rathausplatz, etc. In short, super convenient to everything. The hotel staff were super nice. The energy from the breakfast crew was always great. Speaking of the breakfast buffet, the selections were fantastic. I love it all! Next time I'm in Vienna I'll definitely be looking to stay at Das Tigra Hotel.

Super boutique hotel
A very good boutique hotel not far from St Steven’s cathedral. Staff were extremely helpful and pleasant and our room was very comfortable. We appreciated the ability to make tea / coffee in our room with decent sized mugs ! Supplies were replenished daily. There was also permanent hot water and teas / coffee in the lobby which was very welcome. The breakfast buffet is excellent with a wide range of choices both hot and cold. We would certainly stay here again.

Overall the hotel was very clean. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was also close to shopping and restaurants. We were able to walk to different Christmas markets.

This hotel is in a fantastic location and you can easily walk to many of Vienna’s top attractions. The staff are friendly (particularly the lovely staff at breakfast) and the facilities for children are good. My only small quibble would be that they didn’t replenish the bathroom supplies when they ran out.
