"We stayed here for two nights and wish we’d had a third! We were so glad we picked to stay here - the setting is beautiful and it was great to get a better feel of the countryside of Laos rather than just the cities. Perfect place to chill. If your main reason for going to the area is to do activities in vang vieng I would stay in the city itself as it is quite a long taxi drive (about 40 mins) but if you want a relax and occasional activity in Vang Vieng then this is perfect. "This was an absolute surprise. For $13USD (what we had been paying for some mediocre hostel rooms with AC that hardly worked) we were treated with a rainfall shower. Excellent AC. A clean, private bathroom and a patio looking down at street vendors etc. Quiet hotel! Walking distance to everything but just far enough away from the party bars to sleep well. "
