Many wonderful dining options nearby. The staff was helpful and friendly, and the price reasonable. We will absolutely stay there again!"

"The hotel is unique in decor. It is older, but very clean and antique decor. I loved it. We were pleasantly surprised to get a larger room. Very close to Central Park and Museum across the street. Also subway is close. We walked to the theatre district for a play. I was so happy to find that cleaning staff found my wallet. I had left it in the safe and staff had given it to the office. "The best things about this hotel are location & rooftop. The lobby was also fairly nice. The reason for a less than stellar review is the desperate need for a refresh of the rooms & systems. It is simply worn and the band-aid efforts to keep it together are on borrowed time. Examples: a/c was barely working, the window shade was old & broken, the furniture is worn with drawers not staying closed, the bathroom was old with peeling paint on the door and baseboards, pillows were lumpy, etc. The...
