Loved this hotel!! Low key but very comfortable. The room is huge and so is the bathroom. The service is top notched. Everyone is super friendly, but that's also the case in most of Bali.

This hotel was one of the most amazing places I've stayed during my first trip to Bali! It is located slightly away from the main road which gives this place a more private and quiet place to stay in. At the start, the hotel staff welcomed us at the gate and she was really helpful in helping us with our luggage. Once at the counter, she explained to us about the various amenities and complimentary activities at the hotel. We were so amazed by the broad range of complimentary activities for the guests such as yoga sessions etc. They also have free shuttle services to the town centre or bicycles for us to rent (subject to availability). When we entered our room, we were amazed at how big the family room was. The room was spacious and it was well-lighted. The staff turned on the aircon for us before we arrived so that the room is cooled. The staff even introduce to us the various parts of the room before leaving the room to ourselves. Moreover, the staff here were very accommodative. As it was one of my friend's birthday, we told the staff that we would like to have a mini celebration for that friend when we were there. The next day, the staff managed to get a cake and surprise him during the breakfast session. Indeed, I would recommend this place to anyone who wishes to have a more private and relaxation hotel!

Nice little hotel, 10 minutes to ubud
It's a lovely small hotel. We liked how the pool was at our doorstep, nice tranquil setting. The room was very large and comfortable. Staff are always friendly and willing to help. Not the best breakfast I've had, but it was ok. The location is about 10-15 minutes from Ubud central. They have a free shuttle every couple of hours. Would be good if there was another one later at night than the last one at 8:30, perhaps 9:30-10pm as well would be good. Overall a nice place to stay for a reasonable price.

Great place for the price, staff very polite and helpful, including the reception. Good food too. Would recommend to stay at URH. There was one cicak one night, I’m scared of cicaks, but finally I fell asleep so don’t know where that cicak was hiding!!

Absolutely fabulous place, had a pool access pool which was worth the additional money. Breakfast was delicious and served at your room. The facilities in particular the pool and spa were great. Staff were friendly and attentive. Exceptional value for money

Lovely hotel in a peaceful area just outside Ubud
Very friendly staff who couldn't do enough to help us. A shuttle bus into the very busy Ubud was very useful. Food in the restaurant was excellent

The staff were great and very helpful. A little out of town but transfers and scooters were available. We also hired a driver for the day through the hotel and he took us to many great spots. We didn't spend too much time in the hotel as we were out a lot exploring. The food was super basic but there are plenty of places in the centre of Ubud to eat at which are incredible. Moksa is a must. And swept away which is close by was awesome.

I would pay the extra and go somewhere a lot nicer
Really wouldn't recommend this place, although the staff was lovely, the area is totally out of the way. The pool was lovely (watch out nails in the deck surrounding). There was a temple just opposite which had a 72 hour festival on for the entire duration of our stay... With drums and wailing for that full 72 hours, and let's just say the room wasn't that sound proof. As for the room, it smelt seriously musty and like it hadn't been aired out for a serious duration. The plbatheoom had pink-black mouldy all over the tiles, and the curtain in the shower was equally as grubby. Hot water only lasted for about 3 mins and then you had to wait close to an hour for enough for another 3 mins.. Breakfast consisted of 2 options, toast or egg. With no toppings for the toast. Wifi worked well.

Fairly comfy stay in ubud
Comfortable and sufficient room, but toilet could have been better managed. Stains and smell of blocked pipe but we could tolerate. Pillow was also a bit too big and firm. Breakfast and room service food options could also be more varied. Wifi was pretty slow in the evening/night. But the hotel was nice, heating in the shower also really helped! Aircon was also good. Great that it also provides shuttle service between hotel and Ubud centre. Located in a cosy part of town, good location to relax and take your mind off the busyness of they city :)

Amazing property. Very friendly and helpful staff! I got food poisoning in the very early hours of my last day and as a young, female solo traveller I had really started to panic. I went down to reception as soon as I could and the staff at the hotel personally took me to a medical centre straight away. Not many hotels would do this! The free shuttle to the town centre was also a great help! Incredibly grateful for the kindness of the staff here.

The hotel was good, staff were great and very helpful, pool area was good, rooms were very spacious, breakfast was good but got a bit repetitive towards the end of our stay! We had a few bugs in our room but that's nature and not the hotels fault. The only downside is it's pretty far from the centre of ubud and there is not much around the hotel so you definitely need to us transport to get into the centre, the hotel does offer a free shuttle in but there are only 3 set times that they run it and they only do 2 shuttles back with the last one being at 5.30, so if you want to go for dinner of an evening in Ubud you have to pay extra for a later shuttle, it would benefit if they ran a later shuttle back to the hotel around 8/9 free of charge!

Nice hotel, great location!
We loved it here, my kids didn't want to leave. The rooms are large and comfortable for a family. Pool is nice. The courtesy bus into town is handy and the staff were helpful & nice when asked for directions etc.

Pleasant Hotel
Really pleasant, friendly and accommodating staffs at this hotel. They are all very helpful and able to assist you with the necessary information and arrangement for travelling and tour. Breakfast was mediocre though which is ok if you are on a short break or are not planning to rely entirely on hotel breakfast. The rooms are huge and comfortable enough. The location may be a bit far from Ubud Centre but it all works out fine as they provide twice a day shuttle service at 10am, 2pm to Ubud Centre and 2.30pm and 5.30 pm back to the hotel.

Affordable hotel with extra large room
Hotel raya ubud is a value for money hotel. Competitive rate and extra large room. It is located off the main road, and into the small village road. Hotel is quite modern, although inconsistent finishing touches. When I stayed there, there was "upacara" at the village behind the hotel, so it was quite noisy until quite late at night. The shower also ran out of hot water very quickly, and we were left with cold shower only. Overall, you can't ask for too much more for the money.

A good hotel that can only improve.
We had a pretty good stay at the Raya hotel Ubud. The setting was great, room very large, good pool. The hotel was a little out of the way, but quiet. Shuttle bus worked well. The let down was the breakfast. On our first morning there was nothing to eat. Whole families turned up and then left with only the dad eating. We talked to the staff and explained that this was not really good enough for a hotel. Our second morning was a LOT better. Could still be a lot better. I mentioned that the staff need to be taken to a 5 star hotel and let them see what a good breakfast setup can be like. The Raya could be a top place, most of the ingredients are already there. Please put a good sign up out side the hotel- at eye level. Our taxi drove right past it.

Was duped into staying here by the reviews. There are two properties- the villas and the hotel. Seems most the reviews are for the villa. The location is far from town and the last shuttle returns at 5:20 so if you want to watch a dance in the evening it will cost 60000 for them to pick you up. We had to change rooms since they put about 20 moth ball tablets in the bathroom that made it hard to breath. Worst breakfast buffet we have had on Bali. Would not stay here again.

Consistency would improve things immensely!
Overall, we were disappointed with our stay, as there are so many great options in Ubud. The Good: The pool is inviting; the rooms are huge; free breakfast; management seems wiling to hear customer feedback and improve. Could use improvement: This hotel suffers from inconsistencies. The location is the largest detractor, as the free shuttle listed as an amenity in this hotel - finally mitigated with management to offer as a r/t service. The shuttle van drivers don't know how to drive a vehicle, as they only have driven motorbikes! Breakfast varies some days from a menu to an inedible buffet. Sticking with the offer of the menu would be better for guests. Also in the amenities, hotels.com lists some of the rooms list a washer/dryer in the rooms, which are not the case. Upon trying to contact the hotel via phone and email prior to checking in, I never could get a straight answer re: amenities. Upon staying here, there are no washer or dryers available. Taxi drivers don't seem to know the hotel, they will take you to Ubud Raya Resort and not the hotel. The owners are the same, but the locations are different. This property needs a deep clean! Upon arriving to our room, though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room, we found odd smells that never dissipated during our 7 day stay. Stale smoke, formaldehyde and sewage, at times. It is in desperate need of a deep clean. The property is also loud from the neighboring roosters and construction.

I had a great time at this hotel. It's in a nicely secluded area just about 15 minutes drive from Ubud town centre. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel staff are friendly and very helpful. I would definitely stay again.

Hotel is clean and tidy. Althought I had a few problems, these were sorted out very fast. Breakfast has western food and local food on menu. (Bacon, ham or sausage with American breakfast). Staff are friendly and polite. Downside, the hotel offers free transport to Ubud 3 times a day. (10.00am 2.00pm 5.00pm) But you have to find transport back. Which can become expensive if you do not have your own transport.

Amazing place everything was very clean and pleasant, it is a little too far from the center if you have motor transport will not be a problem at all but they do offer free services to drop you in town. Staff were all so lovely and helpful! Ubud raya is an outstanding hotel and well worth your money's worth !!!!!

Hotelli järjesti tietyin kelloinajoin ilmaisen shuttle-bus kuljetuksen keskustaan ja takaisin. Maksamalla pienen summan sai kuljetuksen haluamallaan kellonajalla. Erittäin toimiva systeemi. Hyvä aamiainen. Ihana allasalue. Sijainti takasi rauhallisen ympäristön. Kuntosali oli pettymys, 3 heikosti toimivaa laitetta.

ウブドらしい村のなかの小さなホテル
ウブドの中心街から村の奥へ車で１０分くらいの静かな小さなホテル。 バスでウブドまできたのでタクシーでホテルまでいくことになった。 客室はとても広く、ベランダからプールが一望できた。入室して早々、でっかいゴキブリの死骸とベランダにはへピの抜け殻がありました。 扉の隙間から蟻の侵入と、ベランダの扉をあけたときに子供のヤモリが迷いこんだりと自然に囲まれているせいか日本の田舎にきたようでした。 シャワーは溜め込み式のため、お湯を使いすぎると水になるので配分を考えて使用しないとならないです。 私たちの宿泊プランは朝食無料でしたが毎回レストランスタッフに朝食がついてないといわれ説明をしスタッフはフロントに毎回確認をとっていました。 夜食にナシゴレンをレストランで食べました、ウブドの繁華街のレストランよりも量も多く安くておいしかったです。 スタッフの皆さんはいつも親切でした。ウブドらしい村の中にあるホテル、繁華街からは遠いので買い物等するには不便ですがゆっくり過ごすにはよいところだとおもいます。 ホテルにはシャトルバスがあるが中心街の最終のお迎えが８時半と早いので時間配分をうまくするのがよい。 今度はバイクレンタルして一階の部屋にとまってみたいです。

Fantastisk personal på ett trevligt hotell
Fantastisk service från den mycket trevliga personalen gjorde att vi kände oss som hemma. Enormt stora rum med sköna sängar. Välskött pool i en vacker trädgård. Ligger en bra bit från Ubud centrum vilket gör det lugnt och skönt. Gratis shuttleservice in till centrum och pickup hem igen gör att man ändå inte missar något.

Endast positiva saker att nämna!
Vi var supernöjda med hotellet. Stora och fräscha rum. Bra frukost som ingår samt supertrevlig transfer personal. Transfern ingick också, en positiv överraskning. Vi hade lite problem att få WI-fi att fungera först, men när vi fick igång det så fungerade det superbra, snabbt och stabilt. Rekommenderas varmt!

Der er styr på alt, og helt faktisk smukt
Vi elsker Ubud Raya hotel. Alt var rent og personaler er de sødeste du kan finde. Meget hjælpsomme, smilende og altid opmærksomme på dig. Meget flottere hotel end billeder viser, det er helt utrolig smukt. værelserne er store, rene og smukke. Alt er bare fuldkommen afslapning og sørget for. Vi har intet at sætte en finger på. Derudover er det der perfekte sted at have en baby med da værelserne har direkte adgang til pool, god pool højde og et personale der er fantastisk med børn. Tusind tak for en fantastisk tid og vi kommer helt klart igen.
