"It was quiet, but easy access to the sea and restaurants/bars. There is a ferry service into Fort de France and the golf is close by. The couple running the site were easy to contact and acted quickly on any questions we had. "

"Fantastic property with beautiful view. The hosts Sandrine and Cyril are absolutely wonderful! Upon arrival, they give you a rundown of what the island has to offer on the map. They offer suggestions of places to see or where to eat, etc, anytime you ask. Lovely little vacation apartment looks out at the bay and FDF. "The unit is very simple but adequate. It is the perfect location right on the beach with great restaurants that are walkable and a grocery store very close. Don't miss the patisserie that is a 200 yard walk! We didn't use it but there is a frequent ferry across to FDF so this is a great base to see the town without actually staying there. Would definitely recommend it. "

"We had a four nights stay at Hotel Bakoua, and we loved the proximity to the ocean and the coconut bar where you could get drinks and food during the day while you were on the beach! Loungers and umbrellas on the beach were really nice and the beach was clean and not crowded. The hotel was a little old and needed some updates. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms and showers were nice although there was a drought and we didn’t have water one night! They gave us plenty of bottled water!...
