"Trogir is a small island near Split. No vehicles are permitted, so you park on the mainland and take a short stroll over a bridge to the village. It is beautifully preserved in the late medieval to early renaissance style. That means cobbled narrow passages with irregular footing. "We stayed here one night to get close to the airport and have a quieter environment and visit Trogir. It was very close to ferry drop-off. The refrigerator in the room had a problem getting cold enough. The window needs a black out shade or drapes. The restaurant food was great. "

"Beautiful old stone building at north gate of old town. Walk out the door and small restaurants and shops start right there. The larger busier promenade is 5 min walk through old town . This hotel is 1 block from bus station including bus 37 to airport. Excellent continental breakfast plus she will make you eggs. "

"My daughter and I had a very enjoyable 3 night stay at the B&B Vanjaka in the triple attic room. We were made to feel very welcome and communication with the owner was excellent before and throughout our stay. As we were the only guests staying we were able to check in early and check out late which was very helpful.
