"Great hostel. Very large rooms and bathrooms/showers. Clean as well. The owner is friendly and welcoming. Only downside is that the dormitory showers don’t have hot water. The private rooms do. But it wasn’t that big of a problem as southern Thailand is always pretty warm. So the cool shower is kind of refreshing after a day at the beach. I definitely recommend. I even extended my stay here. "

"With a short walk to either beach or shared swimming pool there aren’t much else you’d want in a resting place like koh Lanta to ask for. There was although problems with locking the bathrooms. The hostel is close to food and stores but there’s not the best roads for a long walk to different parts of the island. All in all a good experience."

"Overall, we had a pleasant stay at M Hostel. The staff did their best to help and were friendly, if limited by their basic English. We stayed in the private double room. It was good value for what we paid. However, the room could do with some general maintenance, for example: the balcony door did not close properly, the shower was slow to drain and the fridge was a bit unpredictable. The location was close to perfect: minutes from the beach and plenty of transportation options very close by....
