Old but good price .

Everything ok , except or the aircon wasn’t work . The people is amazing . The hotel is a old but have all necessary . The price is just enough.

We stayed at one three peoples room for four nights. The room is relatively spacious compared to other hotel at Tokyo. The price also includes the breakfast. Simple but okay for us! Less than 10 minutes walking to Shinbashi station. The neighborhood is quiet also. We would come back again!

This place was amazing do not listen to the negative reviews! The breakfast is good! They have rice, eggs, miso soup, etc.. The place is very clean and the staff is very nice and helpful. This hotel is in the middle of the city there are nice parks and the subway is 10 mins away. It’s a calm area.

Good Value for Money

The hotel was good value for money. It was a bit far though from Shimbashi station. The staff was very polite and helpful.

Good Clean Hotel with Friendly Staff

While it started out rocky, the Hibiya City Hotel redeemed itself very quickly. The first night I accidentally booked a smoking room and I didn't realize, so I was surprised when I walked in the room and no other rooms were available. After night 1 I was moved into a non-smoking room for my second reservation which lasted 4 more days. The room was fresh, clean and larger than the original room I had, as expected. The hotel itself is a little warn when you look at things up close but overall it is well priced, clean, and the service is very good. Breakfast was a little lacking for a westerner however it was free and filled me up. Great coffee too. I would definitely stay at this hotel as it is priced well, clean, and the hotel staff is eager to please. It is located close to Shimbashi station and right outside of the shimbashi area so lots of places to eat and drink after work.

Good location and near to Shimbashi station 500m .The rooms are not big and no TV service.VOD is avaikable for 1000yen which is freely available in Netflix snd Amazon Prime.

Good location for Shimbashi

The staff are very friendly in this small hotel. The rooms are compact, but this is usual in Japan. The breakfast was rather similar each day, but of good Japanese cuisine.

We really liked the location and the access into Tokyo. I guess most rooms in Asia are a little small but this hotel was great value.

Nice friendly staff. The rooms were dark without adequate lighting. Staff was able to provide a 2nd desk lamp to brighten up the room. The furniture was outdated.

Thank you very much for your comment. Actually our owner wanted to make this hotel an antique European style hotel, so he choosed the furniture like that and make the room dark. But his speculation seems to have failed in all. But we can put in the extra lamp to brighten the room. Unfortunately, we cannot changethe furniture, but you can enjoy fake antique Europian style. If you have chance to come to Japan again, please stay with us. We cannot change this style but we will take care you as much as we can. Thanks again and be well.

The hotel is in a good location close to shops, restaurants and not too far from a JR station. The room is clean and at a reasonable price. One thing I'd like to suggest is to provide multiple USB charging ports in the rooms.

Very clean, staff is so nice and helpful even with the language barrier. The free breakfast in the morning is so yummy compared to some we’ve had in Canada. Easy checkin and check out processes as well. Pretty good location. Close to streets of little restaurants as well as a few blocks from more bougie shopping. Also about a 5-7 min walk to Shimabashi station which was super convenient :)

Good breakfast. Room was fine and clean, but was too hot and cannot be changed. The sink drained very slowly. The step to the bathroom is rather awkward.

No real lobby, just a "check-in" area on the 4th floor. The hotel "bar" isn't a bar, just a small restaurant that also sells booze. Rooms are clean/comfortable though.

Enjoyed the stay - Fine hotel

North American standards don't necessarily fit Asian properties. So was this a typical North American property? no, but it was quite comfortable and very accommodating. Great central Tokyo location about a 7 minute walk from three subways stations. Room was not huge (big enough for the two twin beds and desk area only), but worked just fine for me and my 29 yr old son. TV was nice, had a fridge and free Wi-Fi. Very Helpful staff. Free breakfast - Japanese type breakfast no bacon and eggs. Room was a bit worn but was a great home for us for eight days.

Good location

This hotel was in a very good position, the service was good and the staff were very helpful. The bed was a little smaller than usual but quite comfortable. The room generally was very clean except for the carpet on the floor which was very dirty and needed to be cleaned or replaced.

Very nice and respectful staff , clean hotel but rooms are small and double bed was quite smaller than expected. Not much choices of breakfast apart from simple japanese options
