"The free breakfast is great, healthy selections. The staff are very accommodating. The masseuse, Fabiola, is excellent!! The room is pretty much what we expected. The only negative is our room is facing a building which is under construction, the banging late at night and early morning and with occasional barking of a big dog so late at night."

"The MonarC Hotel is a charming, small property that provides clean and comfortable rooms and dining facilities. The ladies who provided us with breakfast were very sweet and took care of us, providing us with eggs cooked perfectly and delicious cappuccinos. The hotel is in the most convenient location and walkable to everything that we wanted to see. We also absolutely loved the rooftop terrace, where we could enjoy our late afternoon drinks while looking at the new mosque across the street...

"First, the good: centrally located and the breakfast was OK. But the entire Sky Tower is under construction, so the windows are blocked with scaffolding and fabric, plus the whole place was dusty and a bit noisy. The room was huge but sparsely furnished (including a hideously orange sofa). Lighting was too bright and uninviting. Bathroom was just OK. The famous Sky Tower restaurant at the top was closed. Overall, little ambience, almost creepy."
