2. LEGOLAND® Billund

3. Tivoli Gardens

4. Liseberg Amusement Park

Plummet towards the earth at g-force 4 on Europe’s largest freefall ride or test your nerve on the Balder roller coaster before enjoying live music at one of the park’s concert and dance halls. Liseberg Amusement Park has plenty of gentler attractions for young children and the well-tended botanical gardens give older visitors a chance to take a break away from the excited screams in the park.

5. Blue Lagoon

6. Santa Claus Village

Many people book a trip to Santa Claus Village to meet the real Santa Claus in the flesh, perhaps for the first time in their lives. According to Finnish tradition, Santa Claus comes to the village on Christmas Eve to take a short break on his long journey, sing Christmas carols with children and drink a glass of glögi before giving out presents and getting back on his way – he is happy to meet visitors who come to see him! 7. Nyhavn

During the 17th century, Nyhavn (New Harbour) was a vibrant hub of commerce and trade. But as new generations of shipping outgrew its confines and demanded bigger and better-equipped harbours, the area sank into decline. By the early part of the 20th century the buildings along this once-prosperous waterfront were run-down and the seedy streets were notorious no-go areas. However, over recent decades the lovely old buildings have been given a new lease of life at the heart of a revitalised entertainment district.
