"Nina and Peter's little Chalet was delightful. Bella and Rufus were the perfect cuddle buddies in the morning while Nina prepared breakfast. Would highly recommend a stay here. Easy access to Taupo area but out of the way and quiet!"

"This accommodation is spacious and comfortable. Loved the bed! We were in room 17 and it had a fabulous view of the lake. The heated pool is a bonus but with the cold outside temperatures currently it wasn’t quite hot enough. It sits at 35 but really needs to be up around 38 for it to be a pleasant soak that keeps you warm. The location is a little bit from the town but still quite central. The staff were extremely helpful and pleasant. "

"Owner Gary and Chef Chris were very welcoming and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this beautiful house. Very natural hospitality minded folks, Gary thoughtfully pre-booked us dinner reservations nearby, which was very thoughtful. Canapés and wine happy hour was a delight. Would love to come back soon!"

"This resort with out a doubt has to be the best family resort in NZ! The pool is incredible, the 2brm motel style room is stylish but functional. "

"We stayed for 3 nights for a leisure trip. The bistro was closed for refurbishment but there’s heaps of good places around to eat, within easy walking distance. A free car park right outside our door was appreciated. The staff were lovely. We stayed in May, so the temperature outside was cool, but the heat pump worked perfectly in the room. Only thing that could be improved really would be a heated towel rail, but that’s not necessary. "

"The toilet smelled of uri e in our room. The bathrooms are old and I think the urine smell could be in the tiles."
