The accommodations was excellent as well as the breakfast. The facilities were really good . The location of the hotel was good . I like the fact you use a code for the main entrance and for your room and don't have to worry about have the key or card

Check in staff efficient and friendly enough. Room spacious (family room), but building needs some remodeling. Our bathroom was large, but had a horrible smell. Carpets are really gross in hallway. Overall, fine for a night or two, but could be a great property with some investment. Convenient location for Old Town and a supermarket down the street. Spa is nice option and bumps the rating!

Excellent location, spa is a big bonus in winter!
Lovely hotel, excellent location right in the centre of town. Spa access was any time and spa was brilliant! Had to walk across car park to get it to it though (didn't put us off going every day!). Room warm, clean and good facilities. Would stay here again.

One night stay in spa hotel on edge of old town
The biggest let down of this hotel were the staff. They appeared bored, indifferent to customers and did their best to not be helpful. Also as it is a health and fitness centre as well as a hotel the queues can be long and you have to contend with people coming and going in the reception when trying to check in etc. Rooms are a bit randomly located, the check in is at the far end of the courtyard, then we had to traipse all the way back across the car park to get into the building our room was in, and then to the end of the corridor. That aside, hotel is in a fantastic location, rooms are modern and comfortable enough, breakfast was good, and having use of the spa facilities is great (although no English signage to direct you into the changing rooms, out to the other side etc and the staff offered no assistance to navigate this rabbit warren!).

Not bad for a day.
I stayed in Room 309, photo 41, and it didn't look like this. More like staff accommodation for the gym below. I booked as it was described as a spa hotel, expecting tranquillity. The techno weight lifting in the training room below my room soon dispelled that. The corridor to rooms shown has seen better days. Breakfast was standard Scandinavian style and very tasty. I slept well on the basic bed, minus headboards, if you want basic accom with access to the gym/sauna/spa then this is the hotel for you. Also the location is great for old town Tallinn.

Without spa the hotel doesn't worth the money, the rooms have no air conditioning, during the day is very hot inside, there aren't any kind of shampoo, shower gel, just soap. In the summer nights, when there are white nights, some windows have not curtains and it was light in the room. Breakfast was poor, and the desert appeared only once at about 10 am. But about the spa it compensated the discomfort,

Convenient to old city
Great location at the edge of the old city. The rooms are a bit smaller than the photos would indicate, but were in good condition and very clean.

It didn't work very well with splitting the reception with the swim. It gave waiting time, and less focus on us as guests. The room was smelling a lot of chlor (guess from the swim).

It was so good, but there was no laundry/laundry service. I had to go cleaning service to wash my clothes, walking more than 20min from the hotel.

Hotel close to the old town
First night - lots of steps and no WiFi. Moved for next 2 nights. Lovely bright room with good amenities. The downside is steps. If you have difficulty with steps avoid this hotel. Breakfast not the best I have had but adequate. It is very close to everything do that is a bonus.

Extremely unfriendly staff. Not family friendly. Long line at reception and locals push ahead. Staff very happy to deal with locals, but not friendly with us at all. In fact, one of the rudest hotels we've ever stayed at. The actual room was great, though very overpriced. The pool is also very basic, not exactly the waterpark described. Not children friendly. In fact, other pool users frowned at the appearance of a child, even a well behaved child. Good location from ferries and to the Old City, but for the money I would choose somewhere else.

If you are after a basic, hostel style accommodation then Hotel Braavo is for you. The room was clean but very simple. The bathroom did not have enough hanging space for towels and the drains in the toilet smelt. The room was clean however and cleaned daily. The bonus of staying here is the free access to the spa/sauna/pools and the gym which our children enjoyed. It is also just outside the old town walls so very accessible to sightseeing.

Great location, big rooms, good hotel.
The hotel is part of a complex with a gym and spa attached (which is free for guests to use), and a shared reception which is slow and busy with gym as well as hotel customers. The rooms are arranged around a central courtyard, which is used as a carpark. The hotel is unimpressive from the outside and doesn't have much character, but don't let that put you off. I stayed in a twin room which was a good size (plenty of room), nice and colourfully decorated, with decent furniture. The compact bathroom had a nice shower and everything was clean. The electic heater worked, which was useful in the evenings. The TV was small, but sufficient, with a few channels in English. I had one window which looked onto another part of the building and a skylight, so no nice view from the room. Also, no balcony or outside space. But overall it was a good-sized room and I could spread out enough. Free wifi is available, but not a very good connection. I had less problems connecting from outside the hotel as most of Tallinn has free wifi. Breakfast is very basic, with a limited choice. Great location just outside the city walls. And free use of the gym and spa, although I saw the facilities which looks good, I didn't use them so can't comment.

We have booked this hotel a month before because of the facilities. When we arrived we were moved into another hotell located on the train station. They didn`t give us any reason at all. Also the service in beauty center was poor, they did not answer my e-mails except one time. I will never book this hotel again.

The weather was hot, but the room was even hotter. With two big roof windows and air condition not functioning it was a torture staying in the room. The breakfast room was very small and there was shortage of nearly everything. Only one girl serving - I feel pity for her! The spa included in the hotel stay was refreshing. Location great.

My stay at Braavo
Overall a very positive experience. Very clean and accommodating place to stay. It was comfortable and you felt secure. The free breakfast was excellent and much better than most american hotels. The swimming pools and saunas were a big plus as well. Its' location was right next to Tallinn's ole town section and made seeing sites easy. I would stay there again.

A weekend in Tallinn
We found the hotel quite easily after catching the A2 bus from the airport. Our room was across the carpark above the gym. Our room was basic and clean. The bathroom floor was heated which in June was lovely as it rained the whole weekend!

good location in the old town
Lovely and clean, breakfast was continental and regularly refreshed. Very easy to find as you approach the old town its just on the right before you pass the flower stalls. There was building work going on but it didn't impact on the holiday and the hours they were working were reasonable. Big carpark if you were driving there as the carparks in the old town were expensive. Only 1.60 euro on the bus from the airport to town centre and about 10-15 min walk from there to the hotel.

Location of hotel is great (5 min walk from the town hall) and the area is quiet. The breakfast included in the room rate was very basic (toast bread, cheese and ham, porrige, corn flakes and yoghurt), and the bathroom could have been somewhat cleaner, other than that it is a great hotel, and we would gladly visit again the next time we come to Tallinn.

The hotel is basic in furnishings and colourful. The heating was not what we needed for the time of the year - especially not being from Europe - we found the room cold. Darker curtains may have helped keep out the lights from the carpark outside the room. Noise was a factor when other guests returned late at night. Breakfast was adequate. The front desk staff were very helpful. The hotel is very conveniently located in the old town - close to transport about 3 mins easy walk.

Close to the old city. Clean. Very good staff. But a few small problems: the shower was missing shampoo and the bathroom locks were broken. Noise from outside could easily be heard in the inside. But all in all, it was a very good Hotel.

Brilliant location
The location of this hotel was fantastic very close to restaurants and bars of old town but in a quiet location. Not the best looking hotel as it seems to be predominetly a lesiure and fitness club and has the feel of staying in a conference centre but all in all a nice hotel. Rooms are clean and basic with no frills but very comfortable.

This is a very limited hotel in a great location. It is cheap so you should not have high expectation. If it is a bed (with a flate sheet resting on top of the bed and not tuck in) or you want a Gym then great but if you want anything else then don't go with high expectations.

Hotel is located in the heart of Old Town with free parking! Room was very basic but good quality - price ratio. Basic, sufficient though, breakfast also included in room price. Helpful friendly staff.
