Royal Park Hotel is an oasis--clean, quiet, excellent service, and many kindnesses. We will stay again as soon as we can, and recommend this property to anyone and everyone. Proximity to Ritsuin gardens is a bonus.

Takamatsu city business hotel
Japanese city business hotel is known for tiny minimal room. This hotel is no exception. It is located about 20 minutes walk away from Takamatsu station. If you are driving, they have off-site parking for additional fee. Off-site parking does not offer in-n-out privilege so it is very inconvenient to park. They have lounge room where they offer soft drinks during the day, alcohol drinks and snacks at night for free. If you like to drink alcohol, it is a great deal. Breakfast is served in the same lounge room where you can choose between Japanese or western style.

Car parking problem spoiled my stay
The hotel has several car park spaces only but would not let me park there. Other customers were allowed to park there. I had to park far away and walked back to hotel after unloading my luggage. The same was repeated when I checked out and load my luggage in the car.

Highly Recommend for your stay in Takamatsu
The hotel is neat and cozy. We stayed at Conor Twin Room which is comfort and the room is spacious. We chose the Japanese style breakfast which were delicious. The hotel location is very good, it is convenient to tourist attraction, shopping street and dining places are nearby.

Front desk is very helpful. They will assist you everything you asked. Breakfast is excellent also have refreshment and drinks in the afternoon. Unfortunately we were out most of the time didn’t get to use it ..

This property was a pleasant palace in town. The ceilings were little and the room was tiny. However, one should expect that in Japan. It was run as an absolute classic hotel that harkens back to a previous era with cocktail hour and a wonderful atmosphere in the clubroom. The staff was exceptionally helpful as we tried to navigate our way out of Typhoon Hagibis’ path. The location was excellent with a short walk to the station and a pleasant longish walk to the Ritsurin Garden.

We absolutely loved the Royal Park. The most helpful and considerate staff at the hotel. A great bed, great breakfast and best was the free afternoon tea and pastries- followed later in the evening by cocktails and canapés (also free and amazingly delicious). If only moderate priced hotels around the world were all like this!

The room and staff were great. The only draw back was the room was small.....no place to unpack belomgings. There was bo closet or drawers which meant i lived out of my suitcase

Incredible service and amenity
Well maintained hotel with incredible service and amenity. Access to the club lounge for drinks and breakfast was a huge highlight. The rooms are well sized for Japan and were very clean, well maintained with great amenity. Great base for exploring Takamatsu and nearby Naoshima island.

The hotel is small but very quiet and conveniently located close to the shopping district. The staff is very polite and helpful. It is a good deal - breakfast (choose from Japanese and western options), wi-fi, tea/coffee.bottled water in the room and use of lounge for guests are included. The price is very reasonable.

Very comfortable, modest hotel. Hotels.com notes that is is .3 miles from Ritsurin Garden. That is probably a typo. It is probably more like 1.3 miles away. The distance from the train station is accurate. The hotel is probably .7 miles from the station.

Spacious room with excellent amenities. Near to eateries and within walking distance of a train station, though it is not a JR line station so the JR pass cannot be used. There are only two options for breakfast though (Japanese and Western), so breakfast would be a little boring if you stay for more than two days.

The hotel is centrally located in Takamatsu near restaurants and major shopping and quick taxi ride to the ferry terminals to Naoshima and Teshima. The staff was a very friendly and helpful.

Amazing hotel and location.
The hotel is very new with nice decoration. Free lounge for every guests is a plus. Neighborhood is lively wih great variety of shops and restaurants.

sophisticated hotel and the perfect location
This hotel uses the limited space very wisely. There is only Japanese restaurant which is expensive,so the hotel guests normally go to the lounge to have usual meals ( breakfast , lunch , afternoon tea and cocktail time). I arrived at the late afternoon, I ate some afternoon tea there all free-cakes, pastry, juice drinks and small desserts, they were all yummy. Rooms and lobby lounge's interior were so sophisticated, I was so relaxed. However , the room was so tiny, the bed occupied the space almost, the unit bath waa so tiny as well. The location is perfect, I could go to the centre of the city for shopping eating and drinking by walking, there are a few convenient store near there.

Stunning Art Deco Hotel
Wonderful Art Deco hotel with friendly staff and luxurious rooms, well situated in the centre of Takamatsu with easy transport access. The cafe/library on the 1st floor with Airport Lounge style free afternoon teas and evening cocktails with its laid back atmosphere and Jazz music is just amazing and is the cherry on top of what was my favorite hotel of my 3 week stay in Japan. Five Stars and Highly recommended.

Great location and professional staff
This is my second visit to Takamatsu and I am glad that I stayed at this hotel. The location was great, 10-15 mins walk to the pier where ferries depart for outlying islands during the Setouchi Triennial 2016. close walking distance to eateries and shopping areas. The breakfast was good indeed. The hotel staff were professionally trained and showed great hospitality. Special thanks for Mr Shin at the front desk who helped us a lot in booking rental car for our visit to Shodoshima.

朝ごはんやラウンジのおつまみ等、とても美味しかったです。夜のお茶漬けもトッピングがたくさんあり、楽しかったです。 部屋の調度品などは、高級感もあり、落ち着いていました。しかし、テレビリモコンは、謎のカバー？ケース？に格納されていて、過剰と思います。見つからず探しました。 部屋もバスルームも、清潔ですが、絨毯の上にベージュ系の小指サイズの付け爪が落ちていて、色がいろだけに、ホラー映画状態でかなりギョッとしました。清楚と、思っていたからこその、怖さです。金の斜めラメ入り。それ以外は快適でした。

繁華街に近く便利なホテル
check-inはスムーズでした、スタッフのフレンドリー対応も良かったです。難しいリクエストに対し親切に対応して頂きました。広めの部屋を予約してあり快適でした。設備・備品共に使いやすく衛生的で充実していました。朝食は殆どがオーダーで充実した内容です。市内アーケードまで徒歩で直ぐなのでショッピングや飲食には便利です。特にカップルには落ち着いたお勧めのホテルと思います。

子どもの受験のために宿泊しました。便利な場所にあり、翌日も行動しやすかったです。敷地内の駐車場があまりないので、道路を隔てた有料駐車場を利用しました。まん延防止措置期間中だったので、ラウンジを利用しましたが、基本おつまみなので、夕食にはならずテイクアウトの食事を買ってすませました。朝ご飯はボリュームたっぷりでした。清潔感もセキュリティもバッチリでした。
