I liked the comfort of the bed, size of the room. Balcony with a view of the Dead Sea. Food at breakfast was good. Staff friendly. Didn't like no loo paper at all in gents loo by the pools on day 2 (limited loo paper in some loos on day 1). Bedside light worked on day 1 then stopped working. No hot water for a shower at about 5:45pm (it did heat up about 45 minutes later but annoying when you expect to shower).

We are a family of 4, booked the executive suite with sea view, highly recommended. The receptionist was very kind to give a late check out until 3pm. The hotel is great, some parts are wear and tear but value for money I’d definitely reccomend. The private beach to the dead sea is awesome.

Called down to reception and they rarely answered. Hotelspre interested in scanning my bag and complaining about alcohol I had than giving me the WiFi password upon check in. Too money hungry.

Overall is good and the place is beautiful .. Pools are disgusting! Breakfast are bad and limited.. I have ordered iron for my room along 2 days and there is no one available! I think there is no need for dancer.. The noise is irresistible as we are seeking calm stay!

I didn’t stay there because the hotel facilities is not as it shows on the pictures, the room not clean, the lobby without any lights, they have a problem with the electricity, the elevator doesn’t work! They have to solve these issues t be a 4 stars hotel!

Much better than expected
It was pleasure staying at Grand East , staff were very nice and friendly from the guard outdoor , to reception , to spa , to restaurant , also they upgraded us to very nice room with sea view , sea is bit far but it is a nice walk , there are some nice activities at night , breakfast was ok . They only need to work a bit on common areas maintenance and cleaning , but the room from inside was very clean . I think for the price this is a very good option .

Extreme noice
This hotel destroys the guests with background music - sometimes extremely loud - both in the breakfast/dining room and swimming pool. I come to hotel for rest and not to a discotheque or concert. But this hotel has a Polucy of loud noise and they blame the guest if you complain. So stay out from this place.

Force feeding of loud music
This hotel is force feeding the guests with background music - sometimes extremely loud - both in the breakfast/dining hall and especially at the large swimming pool. I do not like to be force fed music, because I come to your hotel for rest and not to a discotheque or concert. Those ones who want to listen to music, including your staff and guests, can use their earphones or do it in their rooms.

This is a average hotel. Too many flies all over the place during the day. Rooms are just ok, but no housekeeping service everyday. The staff is very good and kind. Definitely the Dead Sea is very close and the best part.

Grand East Experience
My brother and I travelled there to see dead sea and some other historical attractions north of dead sea. We loved it. The hotel needs some cosmetic touch for sure but for our purposes it was perfect and we truly enjoyed it. The internet was slow and unreliable so don’t count on it if you stay there and need solid internet access. Otherwise, for the price, it was an excellent experience.

When we arrived at the hotel, the reception couldn't find our reservation. They asked us to wait in a corner while someone went to search their emails for the reservation (although it had been made weeks in advance). 15 minutes later, the receptionist signaled us to come back to the reception desk but he was still attending a customer. Then someone else came and cut the line to complain about something else. Instead of asking the person to wait for their turn, he started to juggle with the two complainers while we waited for another 15 minutes to be attended. We finally got our room. In the evening we discovered that all the hotel restaurants were closed that day except the food served at the bar. We ordered two starters and two very simple main dishes since that's all their was on the "menu". We waited one hour to get our food. After asking several times our waiter were was our food, we finally got noticed by someone else who looked like the manager, and he went to the kitchen and came back saying it was coming. We got a clear feeling that they had just forgotten about our order. Then finally the food arrived, but it was the main dishes, they had skipped the starters. And it was probably the worst hamburger I've had so far in my life. The hotel Dead Sea beach is small and not very clean. The swimming pools are OK and the rooms are also correct. But that is the only positive things I have to say about the hotel, which is sad given the price. Luckily we stayed only one night.
