Decent stay
Welcomed by dogs and room was decent. Nice little area for a home stay type of accommodation. Place has a little history but overall a decent stay for a night

Repurposed farm with multiple options for your stay, including onsite dining. We booked a larger quad room with private bath for our group of 3. The hot tubs were a perfect way to relax after a day of travelling

Check in was ok. No bodywash provided. Lot of bugs, no window screens. It was known that bathroom were shared but the ratio was not mentioned, so it was 6 rooms sharing 2 washrooms, which was a real inconvenience.

This was a great spot - I wish we would have stayed the whole trip . The hotel dogs were a major highlight - so nice and friendly !

Several nice buildings. But not very sound proof (could hear people in the bedroom next door). Comfy and clean. Two hot tubs: one at 38C and one at 41C. So cool. Room to have your meals, and breakfast in case you don’t want to pay for it: hot water, coffee, cutlery, plates.

Fabulous hot tub. Room was fine but the bathroom had a strong musty smell. Almost got killed on the highway with the confusing construction.

Very quiet area. Near to the city. Little kitchen with amenities. Hot tubes. I was late for my checking and they left the keys ready for me. So happy as I was stressed for being late

This is a lovely guesthouse in the Selfoss area of Iceland - a great base to see the Golden Circle and the Southern coast. The breakfast buffet in the morning is delicious! Our rooms were comfortable . The staff was very kind.

Amenities make up for small space
Nice location for exploring the Golden circle. Room was small, no TV, but there was a nice lounge where you could sit and play cards or make tea. Pretty easy to hear your neighbors, but Breakfaat and hot tubs were great. Loved the friendly dogs and cats.

Great Guest House
Great guest house in Iceland. The guest house is family owned and run. Everyone was nice. They served a typical Iceland breakfast (lunch meat, bread/jam etc.). We were put in newer units which were really nice. The hot tubs also were a big hit and we were lucky enough to see the northern lights from them.

Small guesthouse with homely feel.
6 of us booked the guesthouse, we managed to get a block of 4 bedrooms! the bedroom are simple and no-frill. But since we got the block, we have a living room for ourselves. The guesthouse is located in a remote and quiet area, so it's ideal to catch Aurora if you are lucky. What impressed us the most are the breakfast, the dining area is another building that's tastefully decorated, it has homely feel. Since the guesthouse has limited beds, we don't have big breakfast crowd like other hotels, everyone got their tables, just like eating at home.

This is a nice Icelandic guesthouse.
The room we had was comfortable although not tremendous. It was clean and the private bathroom was very suitable. The ambience of the whole place was wonderful. Go here if you're looking for a traditional guesthouse with a good breakfast.

Solid. Not great. Not terrible. Not the dirtiest, nor the cleanest. Good place to crash for a night if you're driving the south coast or plan to hike to the hot springs early the next morning.
