"Loved our time here. It was so quiet and restful. The grounds are beautiful and we enjoyed seeing rabbits and sheep close by. A special treat was watching the golden pheasants outside while we ate dinner and breakfast. The staff were super friendly. "

Great set up for location dining option nearby and community nature walks all in reach by car or walking . Would have staying longer if I could , next time . "It's a super wonderful experience for me and my wife staying here. Ian and Christine are really treating guests with their thoughtful hearts. An attached private lounge for us is a big wow surprise, way beyond our expectations. We enjoyed the comfy bed and delicious breakfast very much! Ian also recommended us some hidden gem locations which we added in our itinerary, it's eye-opening and give us super different experience. "I loved the boathouse...it was a beautifully rural location...it is next to a working boat yard...but it wasnt noisy..water has such a calming effect..the stay relaxed us so much...its a perfect stay if you want to switch off from the world for a little bit...i would definitely go back again.. "Jane was an amazing hostess! The night we arrived, she prepared us tea and delicious strawberry crumpets, it was a lovely gesture after the journey getting to her lovely house. Her breakfasts were wonderful and she was very helpful in helping us decide which hikes/walks to do while on Skye. I cannot recommend this place enough - room was spacious and very clean, good sized bathroom too.
