We had the room with the private pool and it was lovely. Room was comfortable and spacious. Pool was not overlooked. Staff made us feel really welcome.

Hotel ok, avoid Sihanoukville City.
Hotel is okay. The area is dreadful. Sihanoukville must be the biggest building site on the planet! The hotel shakes when heavy vehicles pass the hotel. I am not exaggerating! This happens most of the working hours of the day. Thankfully hotel is not in the city centre. Avoid Sihanoukville till the building work has finished, what a mess.

The hotel was cute staff was friendly but the area around it wasn't and getting there was difficult as the roads were terrible almost 4x4ing to get there. I guess there was flooding in that city a month ago . Garbage all along the sides of the roads and the smell wafted into the resort off an on. Water is not crystal clear n blue like in most pictures of the region, more cloudy and greenish. I wouldn’t recommend going to Sihanoukville at all as it’s more little China with terrible roads and garbage no infrastructure to handle or care to and construction everywhere. koh rong islands were nice but again the water not as pictured by most.

NATURAL BEAUTY IN GARBAGE LAND
The hotel is nice, pity the service is so mediocre and the hotel is not very clean. The air conditioning was leaking on our pillows.The restaurant is okay, not delicious but not bad either. The worse is when you cross the road to go to the beach. It is a big pity because the beach is really beautiful, but filled with so much garbage, we couldn't even bare going, it is really disgusting. Not only few papers on the floor but piles of garbage. It is very sad to see, what a pity!

Hi Christine. Thank you for your review. We are happy you found the hotel nice. Since you did not elaborate, I am not sure what about the service you found mediocre or unclean. I could not find any record of our team working on your air conditioner. If you had reported the problem, our team is very prompt at responding. As you know, we do not control the beach; however, our team does volunteer with other hotel teams in the area to try and clean the beach every month. We hope you will stay with us again should your travels bring you to this area again.

По сравнению с местностью - а это просто напросто свалка в прямом смысле слова(на каждом шагу - навалены горы мусора, отходов и всего остального, мы так поняли, мусор там вообще не вывозят, а бросают, где нравится, т.е. везде) в отеле просто рай. Но если быть объективным, то ужасная вонь ощущается даже на территории отеля. В лобби диваны не первой свежести. Хотели заказать перекусить с дороги-почти всё, что есть в меню, отсутствует в наличии. Номер в целом хорош, если не считать, что в душе не работает слив. И если ты моешься дольше 1 минуты, вся вода просачивается в комнату, и кровать становится похожей на корабль. Мы там были 4дня. Так случилось, что у них сломался вай фай. Починили его только на третий день. В последний день ещё перестал работать слив в унитазе, и сейф заклинило с нашими документами и деньгами. Боялись, что придётся там задержаться, т. к. уже опаздывали на самолёт, а после истории с вай фаем не удивились бы, что и сейф чинили бы дня 3. Но эту проблему решили быстро, слава Богу! Остальное всё супер

Considering this is a relatively expensive hotel for Cambodia I was disappointed with the room (this is not my 1st trip to Cambodia and I have travelled extensively throughout Sough East Asia). We booked the room with a private pool but on checking in we found someone in the pool and the room was not clean. The ‘private’ pool is NOT private everyone can see in and quite often come over for a nosey and the hotel staff often just appear through the bushes because they do not want to walk to the gate. It is anything but private. The furniture although appears quite new is very cheap, badly fitted (doors don’t shut properly) and chipped or badly stained. The walls are very thin. The bathroom had litter from previous guest that was still there when we checked out. Whilst I was very disappointed with the room the communal areas were lovely and breakfast was fine. The resort however has been very spoilt and is currently like a building site. We left 2 days early even though we had already paid in full due to our disappointment with the room and the resort. I would advise anyone to go to the Islands instead for a nicer experience of Cambodian beaches.

I would like to apologize that our resort did not meet your expectations and will address each of your concerns. It sounds like your arrival was possibly met with some confusion on the part of our staff. This is an area I will work hard to improve so that this does not occur in the future. As for the privacy of the private pool area, this is being addressed and is something we are looking to make better. To address the door concerns, this is something the senior leadership and maintenance staff is also currently working on. There is no excuse for the room still having litter from a previous guest, or remaining during your stay. I will share this information with the housekeeping team so we can address the issue. I wish you could have elaborated on the point of being a building site. While we do have our team doing some renovation on the rooms such as painting and making small repairs, I would not consider it a building site by any means. We appreciate your recognition of the communal areas and the hard work our grounds staff puts in making the property a peaceful and beautiful area to stay. I will also pass on to the chef and his staff that you enjoyed the food, as they have been working hard to make improvements. Thank you again for your feedback. We would love for you to stay with us again and see how we are striving to make Sahaa Beach Resort THE place to stay.

Sahaa Beach Resort.
Sahaa Beach Resort is a super place to stay. The food was good, the rooms were really comfortable and modern. All The staff were brilliant, genuinely friendly, kind and helpful. The highlight for us were the well kept, tendered, lush gardens. Well done gardener.

Nice Stay
We only stayed for 1 night as we were heading over to the islands the next morning. The hotel was nice and we enjoyed the pool area for the afternoon after we arrived. Staff was kind and room was clean.

Good hotel
This hotel is an oasis in sihanoukville, which is not the nicest area (lots of construction/dirt roads/rubbish all over the beach/coming out of the sea). The rooms, pool, bathrooms, restaurants and staff are all great. We were unfortunately mugged on the beach close by and the staff did as much as they could to help following this. The shop owner/tour guide directly opposite the entrance is so helpful and would recommend visiting and supporting him. Overall I would say if you have to go to sihanoukville this is worth the slightly higher price, without being too expensive.

Staff at the hotel was lovely!! Restaurant food was very good. I would suggest wearing bug repellent when outside. Beach was maybe a 30 foot walk right across the street. Lots of local restaurants down the street & felt safe. Would stay again.

Best hotel in the locality, nice staff and good beach. Food is good too. However, the area is not to everyone’s taste, road outside is grubby and the pathway down to the beach is full of rubbish. The hotel should pay someone to clean this up. We had problems with the shower and electricity on the first day but these got fixed.

Intermittent electricity in the evening and no water pressure in the the morning which meant we couldn’t shower during our stay. We waited over an hour for our food at dinner and on a couple of cases our orders were mixed up or we were served something totally different. We shared our complaints with the desk on check out, although the manager was very nice and polite we were informed that the electricity and water outages were part and parcel of staying in the area (this was confirmed at other hotels). We suggested this should be included in the website, as we certainly wouldn’t have paid $120 for a night had we known... despite the issues the people who worked here were very polite and helpful, it is a shame as otherwise it could be a nice little resort!

A very relaxing stay
We had a really pleasant two night stay here. The staff are friendly, speak reasonable English and we got a nice Welcome drink. The room was clean with a very comfortable bed. We also liked the “outside” bathroom, though it is part of the bungalow and completely private. The pool, bar and breakfast were great. The beach was just 50m away. And at the entrance is an interesting pool filled with fish, some very large, and turtles. The only negative points were the state of the dirt road and the bags of garbage near the hotel. However neither are the fault of this hotel.

Great location on Otres beach 1, opposite all the restaurants. Lovely clean room with an open air style but private bathroom. Service levels were very good and it came with a nice breakfast. Only downside is the beach side road at Otres beach 1 is unmade and is a bit of a mess when it rains.

Sahaa beach is a beautiful resort with good friendly staff. However, there could be slight tweaks to be made. I had to order a iced latte three times with my breakfast (this could be language barrier related rather poor customer service) & also outside our room was not cleaned for two days resulting in ants all outside of our room. Once these tweaks are done it would be a superb 5* resort. The owner was extremely helpful and accommodating.

A great new hotel with a lovely feel to it.
Superb hospitality provided by the Hotel Manager Jamie and his very enthusiastic and willing staff. The hotel maintains a brand new feel and the beautiful lounge and dining area. The pool and loungers area is so comfortable that we frequently relaxed there, instead of walking 50 metres to the beach!

Loveliest resort on Otres 1
This is a lovel, well-designed hotel on Otres 1. I loved the room facilities, outdoor bathrooms with Bird of Paradise flowers growing, small pool, and charming restaurant. Good chicken with cashew nuts and mixed bell peppers and eggs benedict in the restaurant. The only flaws were that when I got into the room, there were no towels, soap, or drinking water. That was quickly remedied when I pointed it out to the manager. The next day the cleaning was very late (e.g. 3:30 p.m.). I had to get a bottle of water from the bar as I had already run out of my drinking water. I wanted to take a nap, but then the cleaning staff came. . .

Wonderful stay
Wonderful place, quiet, clean, peaceful. Beautiful room, amazing bathroom room. Nice swimming pool. Great food. Perfect service. Staff at the top!!!

Boutique hotel set across the road from the beach
Genuine welcome from the manager and his staff on arrival. In Low Season, the hotel was quiet, but met our needs very well. The food was simple and well-cooked, and served enthusiastically. We were always greeted with smiles, and all the staff made every effort to please.

4 nights in December.
A good resort overall. A few meters away from the beach where you can use facilities of several of the beach bars for free. The room was modern and clean. Breakfast was fine and the staff very friendly and attentive. It seemed to me that this was one of the better resorts in the general vicinity.

Nice quiet place to relax
Nice place to stay if you're looking for some quiet time. It's not on the beach but is only 20 meters away. The area is also pretty quiet so this suits couples and families rather than solo travelers looking to meet other people.

Beautiful villas in a relaxing location
Very stylish and comfortable villas in a beautiful location. A 2 minute walk across the road to a lovely quiet beach. Breakfast was delicious and dinner was great too! Would definitely stay here again and recommend it to friends!

Wir hatten einen wunderschönen Aufenthalt in diesem schönen Resort. Für uns war die Lage sehr wichtig, da wir etwas Ruhe gebraucht haben und es etwas weiter weg von der Stadt liegt, aber wenn gewünscht ist diese sehr schnell mit dem Tuk Tuk erreichbar. Gebucht hatten wir eine Executive Suite mit großem eigenen Pool, dieser trug sehr zu unserer Erholung bei. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir das Essen, geboten wird eine sehr gute Auswahl an Asiatischen und kontinentalen Speisen, alles hat sehr gut geschmeckt und hatte faire Preise. Die Angestellten des Resorts waren stets zuvorkommend und sehr freundlich.

L’hôtel est très bien, le restaurant et le service également! Je dirai juste qu’il manque un peu d’entretien, notamment autour de la piscine (matelas des chaises longues sales ou inexistants par exemple!)

Das Ressort ist wirklich schön. Der Garten ist ausgezeichnet, der Pool super, das Essen sehr gut und der Bungalow mit dem Ausenbad ein Traum. Die Umgebung geht aber gar nicht. Es ist wirklich sobald man auf die Straße tritt eine Müllhalde. Die Chinesen haben schon die Hälfte abgerissen und der Müll und Bauschutt türmt sich über all. Der Strand ist nur dreckig und es stinkt überall. Es werden überall riesige chinesische Hotels gebaut. Der Baulärm ist auch nachts fast nicht ertäglich.

У отеля неплохая зеленая территория, однако совершенно не ухоженная. Номера представляют из себя бунгало. Площадь их недостаточна для двоих человек и багажа. Ванная комната находится на улице, что со стороны выглядит вполне симпатично, однако крайне неудобно в использовании из-за высокой влажности и обилия насекомых. Завтрак ужасный. Кофе пить невозможно, из выпечки есть только тостовый хлеб , сыр и ветчина отсутствуют в принципе, из съедобного только фрукты. Повар в ресторане готовит все блюда на один вкус, весьма вольно обращаясь с их составом и внешним видом. Персонал старательный, но абсолютно некомпетентный, что, впрочем, является общей проблемой Камбоджи. Отдельного внимания заслуживает прилежащая территория. Конечно это не имеет прямого отношения к отелю, однако надо учитывать , что он расположен на помойке, в прямом смысле этого слова с соответствующими пейзажами и ароматами. Вокруг помойки идет непрекращающаяся стройка. Пляж загажен так, что босиком ходить небезопасно. Не рекомендую посещение данного места в ближайшие лет 10, до завершения реновации.

Hi Olga, I am sorry you did not enjoy your stay at our hotel. I will speak with the team on ways to improve our well-maintained and green space. I am not sure why you thought our rooms were too small, but we do list the size when booking. I would suggest looking at that information when booking in the future. For English translation readers I think the translation is not correct, we do have a full buffet, and not just bread and fruit. I take great offense to your statement of the staff being incompetent. In fact, I challenge you to find another review anywhere that agrees with your thoughts. Our staff is well-trained and delivers amazing service far beyond our competitors. I wish you the best in your travels.
