The property is not maintained and is in the centre of a building site. You should not have it as a hotel on your site until the building work is complete. The rooms were dirty, we had hot water and TV failures. The decking around the pool is dangerous. The hotel will be knocked down or renovated and renamed at some stage. You should not be offering this property to your clients at this stage.

Staff was great but there is construction everywhere , including the beach. I suggest taking the boat to one of the small islands near by. They are paradise.

Great staff, nice location :) Always remember to use Passapp to order transportation, 2-3 times cheaper than what the driver want you to pay. Then showed what the app says it should be, drivers usually do not say anything back.

The stay was great. Hotel staff friendly and helpful. Very poor road conditions caused us to many time sitting in traffic whereas we could have done a tour. Boat trip to islands was funtastic. Had a great time

It was difficult to check in. They could not find me on their list so it too awhile to check in but didnt explain the reason. The room was very rusty and humid. Our phone was broken. Be careful with getting a tuktuk through the hotel. They didnt tell me the price when I asked and I had to pay for 25$. I used Passapp and had to pay only 8$ when going back to hotel. But their private beach was nice.

Nice for a few days
The room was lovely and comfortable and the staff were very nice. Our only complaint is that the toilet, tap and shower water smelled and was a dirty colour, we didn’t really know what to do about that. The pool was nice and there was a little town to walk to with shops and restaurants.

Great place to stay near the beach.
Cleanliness is OK. It's near the beach. So every guest would have the chance to bring sand back to Hotel. Quality of service is very nice. The staffs are helpful. Even when our son got sick, they even come with us to see the doctor.

The beach forgives everything...
Was pretty nervous about our booking here due to reviews we had read. Overall our visit was good, but there were a few things that could be improved. I had arranged a hotel pick up from the airport, and when we arrived at 10pm no one was there to pick us up so we had to negotiate our own taxi and hope our driver took us to the right place. When I advised the staff they didn't organise the car they didn't respond and/or care. We were taken to our room, which wasn't the room type we had booked. No explanation was given until I questioned the staff member who told us to sleep in this room, and they would sort something out in the morning. He then promptly left. Anyway, everything else is quite nice, the beach is beautiful, the breakfast is pretty tasty, the staff leave a bit to be desired. I would love to come back to Otres Beach, but woould probably look at other hotels on the strip before booking here again.

Fantastic stay at the Mary Beach hotel
We were really happy with our hotel room which was facing the beach directly. The staff were very friendly and always helpful. The only con is the water pressure in the bathroom was not that great. It was only about a 30 second walk to the beach which was like staring into an oasis and there were plently of restaurants. We will definetly be back

I’m Cambodian living abroad my Khmer might be limited but my understanding of the language is not, I know when I’m being insulted and I know when I’m being talked about behind my back. The staff at this hotel is Rude, and all are obnoxious. The room was terrible, it had dead insects and animal faeces all over the floor and looked as if it had never been cleaned. The bath room was disgusting it had human faecal matter splattered on the wall and urine stains behind and around the toilet bowl, not to mention the plumbing issues of both the dirty bathtub and toilet. The hotel is falling apart and The staff don’t seem to care. Don’t get sold into the amenities that Expedia advertised with on its website, don’t get sold on the fact it might be heavily discounted as this is no better than living in a hut with a hole dug for a toilet, and personally I would have rather paid $80 odd dollars for that per night. This hotel is not for families, nor would I recommend to house animals. I fear there maybe health risks attached to staying here.

Lovely quiet beach front hotel
We had a wonderful time here. The staff were amazing and pretty much dropped everything if you asked for something. The rooms were great and cleaned daily. All mod cons but i guess your not staying in your room the whole time!! The restaurant for breakfast was good (be ready that the local dogs amd cats roam or sit at your feet but they are clean amd friendly) The facilities were good..mainly.pool ans sauna..the gym.needs to be updated but i guess you have a 8km beach front to run/walk along. Theres plenty to do here and its at the quiet end of the beach but still walk around and you would be amazed at how many little hotels are there and people. Bring insect repellent!!! And slip slop slap as the sun is deadly Great hotel amd if i come again ill stay

As much as I want to give a positive review, I can't do so. While the staff responded courteously to all of my concerns, the property is not a 4 star. The first room I was in had a gap in the door panel large enough to insert a finger and the A/C didn't work. Room #2 had a lock that the key got stuck in, hair in the tub (not mine), bathroom tub didn't appear clean and urine smell and stains streaked down the commode, stains on the towels and seating cushions, and hot water worked only sporadically. After our first meal in the restaurant was underwhelming, we opted for dining options at other boutique hotels down the beach, which were amazing. Even after being notified of my concerns and being assured room would be cleaned better, the bathroom condition didn't improve. On a positive note, the bed linens appeared to be clean. Realizing this is in a developing country, I don't expect the Ritz but I do expect the description of the property to be accurate. Unfortunately, I can't give this hotel more than 2 stars at best.

My experience would have been much better if the rooms had been maintained properly. As soon as I entered the room it smelled moldy and musty. The shower had a lot of black mold and the linens also did not smell fresh. Otherwise the staff was friendly, the pool is good, breakfast selection was excellent and the beach is really nice.

We left as soon as we could
The place has been let go. The staff seem to not care. We had the same experience as previous reviews. Had to ask for towels after the room was cleaned (I use the word cleaned loosely) The bed sheets were stained, so was the pillow cases and doona cover. The shower ran all over the bathroom, there was mould in the room. I was attacked my mosquitoes in the room.... Honestly the staff just seemed to really not care about anything. The area is run down and rubbish everywhere. We left a day before we were supposed to, we were supposed to be there for four nights but after the second, we couldn't put up with it. We only stayed one more night as the driver couldn't take us that day. With a little bit of effort, this place could be so much more.

My stay at Mary Beach Hotel
I enjoyed my stay, it is a great location. I found the rubbish on the beach somewhat disappointing also the road at the front of the hoteliers in very bad repair. If I had more time I would have cleared the plastic from the beach. I feel a voluntary input by all the hotels could result in the road being repaired and the beach being kept clear of rubbish. It is a unique part of the world and deserves to be bee protected.

Lovely location set back from the beach. It has it's own restaurant on the beach serving breakfast, lunch snacks and dinner. However it is a bit soulless so we preferred to dine at The Secret Garden, only a few metres away. Also the manager offered an airport transfer for $50 - don't bother. Use the local TucTucs who will do it very efficiently for less than $20. A TucTuc ride into town will only cost $7

We came here for the purpose of having some clean/quite time away from our busy city-life in China. Even though the weather wasn't perfect we still had a great time on the beach, in the hotel pool or at the other hotels close by. The limited developed stage of Otres 2 makes it perfect for a family stay with young kids (3yr+) There is absolutely no noise of late night parties, or loud visitors. But the availability of supermarkets is as underdeveloped as the whole of the Otres 2 area, so you'll have to travel to town if you don't like the food or for other shopping needs. We just enjoyed the calm, clean and pleasant surroundings in Sihanoukville Otres 2 Beach (again).

Staff was really nice, friendly and helpful. Room was great with a massive bed. Bathroom well equipped with nice shower. In general rooms are very spacious. They could just be a bit more cosy with pictures or any other art. Otres beach is nice to relax - but not as amazing as the island beaches around. Breakfast in the hotel is good with a variety to choose from. I just had food in the restaurant once which was great. It was a bit more expensive than the other places around - but therefore the quality was better. If you just want to chill out for a few days this hotel is great.

Hotel did a great job of arranging activities by area vendors for us. They had a Car and driver waiting at the airport. Staff was very helpful in all aspects of our stay. local transportation was a fair value for the area. Dinning at the hotel was very good so we did not venture out for our meals. The free breakfast was great with a good selection of food. We had a very relaxing stay!

The hotel was very new and had great amenties. Room large and well appointed. The staff were lovely. They were so enthusiastic and helpful. Lovely pool and right across from the beach.we stayed 6 nights and would certainly return. We have been to Cambodia several times and to Sihanoukville itself. Being 5 km out of the town it is much more tranquil perfect for complete relaxation .

Throughly enjoyed our time here. Right on the beach plenty of lounge chairs and towels available. Bar and restaurant staff very friendly and helpful, some didn't understand or speak English very well but we didn't have any problems. Breakfast great served right on the beach, lovely pool which we didn't use. Furniture in the room rather uncomfortable for sitting but we didn't use it much so it didn't matter. Great place to stay

This hotel is beautiful. Right on a gorgeous beach. Soft sand, warm shallow waters and plenty of sun beds. The room was massive. Everything we could have needed, including a beach bag so we didn't have to get our bags sandy. We ate at several of the hotels along the beach and the restaurant here is undoubtedly the best, albeit a dollar or two more expensive for meals and bottles of water. Worth it for the food though. We found it a challenge to communicate with the staff at the front desk, who gave us massively inflated quotes for onward travel. Almost 200% of cost price. We also returned to our room to find that the door had been left wide open by the cleaners. Not even closed and unlocked – completely wide open. Luckily, we were the ones who found it as anyone could have helped themselves to our stuff. Sort these issues out and it would have been perfect.

Leave the world behind
The area was great to get away from the world. There are several hotels with restaurants along the strip of beach which cater for all your needs. The city is about a 20 minute tuk tuk ride but you have everything here. The staff were always happy and went out of their way to please. I highly recommend for a relaxing getaway.

New hotel right on Otres 2 beach...most beautiful beach in Snooky. Very tidy and clean. Comfortable, good size rooms with small balcony and sea view. Fantastic location, very peaceful surrounding and clean beach. Safe swimming for kids. Breakfast served in restaurant right by the beach. Breakfast buffet was sufficient with fresh fruit, nice bread, various spreads, cereal, egg station as well as cooked food (pancakes, noodles etc)...would love to come back one day..

Great hotel!
Was a bit worried about my trip to this hotel as it only recently just opened, however I needent have worried as it was amazing. The room was huge, location was right on the beach, food was great and all staff were generally very attentive. The only downsides I would say to this hotel were that staff are still learning the ropes and sometimes seem like they aren't actually doing anything and that the food was over expensive (doesn't matter their around 15 or so other places on the beach where u can eat).

My wife and I really enjoyed our stay at Mary Beach Hotel. It is a modern new build hotel that offers good value for money and makes a change from primitive bungalows on the beach. Proper room safe and clean. Good friendly staff too.

we had a shaking start when we first arrived. The hotel told us that the rooms I booked weren't available and it turned out that the hotel is on trial run and it would only be opened on October 1st. To compensate, they arranged 2 smaller rooms and refunded us half of the money in cash, we then spend it on another small room which luckily was available. On top of that, they also offered free car ride to the main town at night. The flooring in the bathroom was quite a disaster, water flooded all over the floor when we took the shower, it would be fine if the room had a bath tub. Otres beach is quite remote, there is only a few restaurants around and the food is only average. However, it is a really nice beach. Overall, we were quite satisfied with the service
