"The best word to describe this property is "peaceful". The staff and service were superb. The decoration is beautiful. We stayed here on New Year's Eve and there ended up being a miscommunication concerning our hotels.com reservation. There were not any other rooms available in town. The staff went out of their way to make things right and to find room for us. We stayed with five kids and they really enjoyed the pool. They also had life jackets so out 2 year old could swim. "We arrived and were asked to wait so that the guy on the desk could spray the room with air freshener. On entering the room the place looked shabby and on close inspection of the pillows we quickly decided not to use them as some were stained yellow. The a/c turned on but did nothing to cool down the room and the fan on the wall only oscillated about twice before sticking. There was a bracket on the wall where the tv once was and the electric wires sticking out of the wall where the shower once...
