It’s simple and just the basic - a clean, safe, and comfortable place to stay in Seoul. A few blocks from Myeongdong Station. Very close to restaurants and stores. I stayed here for a week and I would say they gave the best customer service. The staff were friendly and helpful.

Simple, nothing great but not bad
It was good for what it was, which was just a place to sleep. In a great location (near Myeongdong street and near Seoul tower). No frills, very simple room. Staff was nice.

Very close to Myeongdong metro station. The staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite good. The room was clean and spacious for 1 person to stay but it would be nice to have a wardrobe. Though I would say it was a bit over-priced.

Close to the station. Midnight check in is available. Although the building is a little old and the bed had stains that cannot be removed, i was satisfied almost especially water pressure. あと、スタッフが日本語で案内してくれました。

We stayed for 8 nights here and enjoyed it very much. Breakfast was very good with a wide spread of both western and Korean food. Room is small but functional and clean. Staff are polite and helpful yet respecting privacy. Will be back again next time!

The bed is comfortable. We got the room that is rectangular shape. There is not much space to put the luggage while Bath room is big. And there is no place to place towel . Water is hot enough for shower .

Everything was great except the smell in the bathroom. Towels were to small but I brought my own. Toiletries were limited to shower essentials, slippers and towels. Thank goodness there's a shower curtain, otherwise the bathroom would of been completely wet. Give the staff advance notice of you plan to do the laundry because they always have it running. Breakfast was spectacular.

Great staff!
The place is hard to find at first. The room was really small and had only half a window which made me feel a little claustrophobic. The bed would have been comfortable if not for the plastic cover on the mattress which made me sweat like crazy when sleeping. The breakfast was really good. The best part of my stay was the staff. They were very helpful and friendly.

It is the best hostel I've experienced in Korea

I was very impressed during my stay. Hotel is clean, quiet, good decoration, and good aromatic scent in everywhere. However, it looks everything would goes fantastic , a bit drop at the last night. The blanket they changed had a lot of stained and no wipes for bathroom! Location is so good - 5 mins from Myeong dong. Highly recommend!

Highly recommended hotel - clean & good location
it was amazing. the hotel is about 5mins walking distance to 3 train stations of different lines. so centrally located that going to anywhere is convenient. I booked the single room and it is clean and spacious enough for 1 person with 2 30" luggages and lots of shopping loots. Room was cleaned and touched up daily. the service was great too! breakfast was good. the only con side was the breakfast served the same food everyday for the past 7 days that i was staying. besides that, i enjoyed my stay a lot! highly highly recommended!

Only good for back packers, Couples to avoid !
We stayed 4 nights in 2 rooms. Rooms are too small for comfort, no chair, no space to walk around. Very limited breakfast. Towels are old, smelly and tiny. Hot water took more than 1-2 minutes to arrive at the faucet. Too expensive 70 US$ for the quality. The Pacific Hotel is 4 stars and only cost 20$ more per nite, with excellent breakfast.

Fantastic staff, especially one of the female staff who spoke very good English. She was so helpful in giving directions, transport information and places to eat/dine. Great location, walking distance to Myeongdong touristy day/night attractions. Convenient public transport with short easy rides to most of the attractions. So easy to walk to numerous eateries. Great breakfast. So much better than at a more expensive and higher rating Busan hotel. Room was clean and fresh towels given daily. Quiet location & room. Highly recommend this lovely hotel.

Very good location (near Busan Station)
It's very convenience to travel from this hotel. Staff is very helpful and eager to service. There's little dust on hair dryer storage but overall is good.

I love this hotel!
Located near Myeongdong & the nearest subway exit is Myeongdong exit 10. You'll be able to see 'Won's Ville' upon stepping out of Exit 10. Convenient location, without the hustle & bustle of the shopping street :) Staff were pretty friendly, & able to speak English. Stayed in a single room, small but very cozy. A small little downside could be that the housekeeping is inconsistent (bath mat was missing, thrash bag was left in my room & windows were left open on certain days). I'll definitely come back :)

Nice hotel
Nice hotel just steps away from Myeong Dong shopping district. Breakfast in the morning was great. They have the heater on in my room and i was sweating, told the hotel staff and apparently he turned the ac on but still it was so hot in the room. I have to open the windows when I'm in. But overall it was an ok stay, will recommend to my friends because of it's proximity to the shopping, food and airport shuttle.

Cute and Comfortable hotel
I was reserved this hotel via expedia at first I really afraid that hotel will really far from station but that's not true! this hotel is near Myoeng-dong station and really easy to get to. A staff I met can communicate in English perfectly! They has hair dryer for free. The lobby and breakfast area is really cute! The taste of free breakfast also good. The room is clean and comfortable.

Good and affordable stay in myeongdong area!
The accommodation is conveniently located near myeongdong station. Spacious room for single occupancy. Breakfast was very good! Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Convenient & Reasonably-priced
We arrived earlier at 9am and they were very gracious to let us check-in almost immediately instead of the usual 3pm. While the triple room is equipped fairly sufficiently, there were only 3 hangers on the coat hangers, and no hooks on the walls or in the bathroom . It would be helpful to have a few more hanging hooks both in the bed area as well as in the bathroom. You would have to bring your own big towel as they only supply small ones. Breakfast was delicious although we ate only twice out of our 5 nights of booking. The little cafe is tastefully decorated. The closing time for serving of breakfast is way too early at 8:45-- We are after all, on holiday~

Very nice decor and helpful staffs. The guest house is very close to the shopping areas and the room has a very nice remote control that turns on everything from tv to aircon to lights

Nice hotel perfectly situated in Myeongdong
I stayed here for 2 weeks and therefore you can believe my review!! First off, I want to address other reviewers' complaints. This hire provides small towels, yes, but that is COMMON in South Korea so get over it. This hotel does provide wifi and it can sometimes be slow, so best to go in the lobby If you want to FaceTime, but FaceTime Audio was fine in my room. Also yes the breakfast buffet is the same everyday: so what?! Seriously the people who complain on Expedia about this hotel are stupid. The food was excellent and a good mix of western / Korean food. What I liked most about this hotel was its location: about a 5 minute walk from exit 10 in Myeongdong. Within 10 min walk, you have access to 3 metro stations. My room was serviced everyday and the sheets changed many times. The fridge is big enough to put a bit of food and they provide daily water bottles. The only downside of the hotel is that the walls are a bit thin so sometimes I could hear my neighbours if they talked too loud, but this only happened a few times in 2 weeks. The hotel staff was friendly and tried to help me with directions the few times I asked. For the quality/price ratio, I would most definitely stay here again.

Small room but great location.
Perfect location for a few days in Seoul - close to markets and two subway stations, as well as hanok village and walk/cable car up Namsan to N Seoul Tower. Our double room was very small - a tight squeeze for two people with large backpacks. However the bathroom was a generous size and the room was equipped with useful amenities such as kettle and mini fridge stocked daily with bottled water. The air conditioning above the bed was quite cold, and you are unable to change the settings yourself. Breakfast was included and served from 7am, with a range of options available. However we would have appreciated healthy options as the buffet did not cater for this. Also, earlier breakfast would be appreciated to fit in with early start times for local tourist attractions and tours such as DMZ tour.

Missing a few basics
For reference, I stayed in the room with a double and twin bed. There's only 2 sets of plugs, so plug your phone by the desk 10 feet away or leave it dangling by the cord under the TV. It could also use a night table between the beds. Wi-fi was spotty all week, something that should be excellent given that it's Korea. We stayed in cheaper rooms, same location with more style than the white walls and exposed hoses here. And the cafe downstairs is HELLA expensive. My recommendation: you can find better.

Really nice hotel overall.
Enjoyed our stay here for 5days. Buffet breakfast was very filling and delicious! We actually liked the fact that breakfast is served as early as 7am so we can really make the most of each day. Location is good considering it is very near the subway and walking distance to Myeondong shopping area. The room for two is cozy but could be better if a closet for more clothes is installed because only 2 hangers were provided. Our bathroom has a glass divider for the toilet/sink and the rainfall/telephone shower area unlike the other reviews I've read where they mentioned there is no division -- I'm guessing a recent improvement, good job! :) Everyday our room is cleaned - bed made up, towels changed, etc. Staff were really friendly and accomodating from the time we checked-in until we left -- they even helped us carry our heavy luggages towards the street outside the hotel entrance. This hotel really exceeded our expectations and would definitely stay here again when we come back to Seoul! :)

Super disappointed with this hotel !!!
WiFi was very unstable. Dropped out from internet frequently. Could not make even a single Skype call. Basically un-usable !!! There was a very bad smell in the bathroom. Informed front-desk and was told that maintenance people would check, but no improvement at all. The smell was so bad that we did not even want to go back to the room. The bed sheets were not changed for 3 nights. Changed only after we requested it at the front desk, but the so-called new ones were dirty. Finally we requested for replacement and changed them ourselves. Super disappointed with this hotel. Will never come back !!!

Great Hotel
The hotel's location has a very good location. It's just a 1 minute walk to Myeong-dong Station Exit 10. It is also a 1 minute.walk to Myeong-dong's shopping alley. So if you got tired shopping, you can easily go back to rest awhile. We got a 3 person room. The room size is just right. Maybe Just need more shelves and hooks to put things or hang clothes since there are no cabinets. My family enjoyed every breakfast we have in your sweet dining place. Whether you're a heavy or light breakfast person, you'll find the food just right. Don't miss their free COFFEE. It's so good. The front desk always gave us the best option how to go to a place. They don't try to offer expensive special tours. They just teach you the fastest and most economical way.

The location and breakfast is superb...very near to myeongdong a d namsan tower as well as the namdaemun market... however, the towels in the room are just like face towel and the aircond was set to a controlled temperature. Thus our room was very warm and it is noisy to open the windows... it would be good if the towels were bigger and we are allowed to control the temperature ourselves..
