We waited for a while to be checked into the room. The water tap for hand washing and the water from the shower was literally dripping rather than the normal constant water flow. Luckily they sent the maintenance man to rectify the issue pretty quick. Then the drainage in the shower was blocked when we showered, and the AC was not cold at all. Another maintenance man came to clear the blocked drainage and injected some gas for the AC but the air was still quite warm. We understand that the air is not potable but having sediments at the bottom of the glass/kettle was something else. We boiled water to wash our hands. The price we paid for the room for two nights was not worth it, should have booked elsewhere. Didn't like the shower and toilet decor, looked very third world rather than a 4 star hotel

This hotel should have been a 5 star review, but very simple things are missed by housekeeping and maintenance. All the other reviews regarding cleanliness are accurate. At first glance, the hotels and rooms are very nice, but the cleaning of the rooms and property is very “surface level”. At check-in the hotel makes a big deal about leaving stains on the sheets in such a tone that I felt paranoid. I did not leave stains and was not charged for stains, but other guests in the reviews have and it’s obvious that the hotel has cleaned these same sheets without using bleach or an effective stain remover and then put them back on the beds. It’s impossible to get a room here without stains on the sheets. I alerted the staff and they had me change rooms three times, because I didn’t want to get charged for a previous guest’s stains. There were also big, obvious hairs on the bathroom vanity that could have easily been cleaned up by housekeeping. To sum it up it seems like all they do to clean the room is spray a very noxious ammonia-based cleaner around the room and change the beds. Every morning the entire hotel smells very strongly like cleaning chemicals, yet nothing gets properly cleaned. It’s nonsensical. If I hadn’t checked in very sleep deprived and if my stay had been longer I would have stayed somewhere else. However the staff was very friendly and accommodating. If the hotel was as nice as the staff this would have been a 5 star review.

Interesting place and good location
Love this quirky hotel. Very comfortable and the staff are great.an inside room is recommended since it’s a busy street on the front. The standard rooms are very comfortable and the furthest away from the main street. Excellent value. Oh and since the pool was changed to blue as opposed to red tile? It’s really good.

This is a really quirky hotel that we loved staying in. Location is great, next door to a convenience store and a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were super friendly and helpful, the rooms are well equipped with bath and shower, big bed, hairdryer, toiletries, a safe, robes and flip flops. The larger pool on the ground floor has a couple of loungers and seats but limited sun, however the roof garden has a small pool to dip your feet in and a number of large lounge beds. There's also a bar for food and drink. All in all, a great hotel that we would definitely stay in again.

Viva Dash Vacation Stay
I stayed at Viva Dash during a week long vacation and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The hotel’s design is hip and cool, and the location and service were both great. I’m looking forward to staying there again during future visits to Bali.

This hotel really exceeded my expectations, the deco is fantastic and you can tell that a lot of effort and work has been put in making sure all details are looked into. The staff were super friendly, the bed comfortable, the shower had great pressure and the breakfast was delicious, couldn't recommend this hotel more to those wanting to stay in Seminyak

Room's were damp especially toilet mould was growing on the walls,no comfortable chairs fridge was so small, myself and companion were quite ill ,staff knew as we had a doctor call on us but not once did they come to see if we needed help with anything, this hotel is not fit for elderly people, would never recommend it.

The hotel is nothing like it was 4 years ago. It requires some major renovation. The toilet condition is just terrible: water pressure keeps on changing, sliding door handles are pealing off, the walls are cracked. Breakfast coffee is also terrible. It's sad to see such a great hotel in the past to be this bad. The only 2 things are: really friendly staff and location
