The hotel is walking distance of the main Sarajevo tourist attraction, Bascarsija. It is downhill walking, but going back up to the hotel can be hard if you are not used to walking. Many people were using taxi for their return journey. The hotel is clean, accommodating and has a friendly staff.

Hotel not prepared for access to old and handicapped. Receptionist at arrival was a nice lady. Room smelled a little when I first arrived. Room size is good but Ac for heating doesn’t work except when you have the card in the room. Although I put the Ac on 24c, the temperature inside the room never got more than 21 and I woke up cold, it was even 19.8c Very uncomfortable. Earlier the receptionist told me that breakfast time was shifted from 7 to 8 which was fine with me. In the morning, at 10:15 I tried to take coffee from the machine in the breakfast hall, the receptionist told me it was closed and I should have been there earlier! Never offered any solution, he just said it was written on the envelope. The breakfast quality is average and definitely not appetizing food was there like 2 hours ago. Variety is Hotel is located on a steep road. Can’t go anywhere without a car, especially for older people and kids.

Cleaner should be well trained.
My stay was good , rooms are excellent , food was nice and most of hotel staff is great except for an incident that happened from the cleaner. I put the label “ do not disturb” when i went for breakfast. Surprisingly, when i returned i saw the room was cleaned and i had few valuable stuff in the room.

Super friendly and helpful staff with an amazing location that is just a short walk away from the old market in Sarajevo yet still quiet. The hotel itself is well maintained, clean, and modern, and the included breakfast each day was a huge plus. Cannot recommend the Hotel Aziza and Sarajevo highly enough!

This is a beautiful family run hotel on the hillside above the old town. The view from my room which had a balcony was spectacular. The old town is just a few minutes walk away down a steep hill. It takes a bit longer coming back up the hill. The city itself is slightly chaotic so this oasis of calm is very welcome. We did spot a small bus which runs up the hill but getting transport information in Sarajevo is not easy. Breakfast was really good. They dont serve food in the evenings but the old town is very close by with a wide variety of opportunities. We were able to get a beer at night. The city itself offers an experience very different to other places in Europe.

The staff were all very helpful and accommodating. The hotel is a quite bit away from the main attractions and up a steep hill. The room was clean and quiet, but was never cool enough.

Great place with an amazing staff who will go out of their way to make sure you feel at home. It’s also very close to čaršija/old town, probably 4-5 min walk. Strongly recommend!!

Charming family hotel.
The hotel staff was very friendly and welcoming. The hotel was charming and clean. The breakfast was serviceable and the location, while walk-able to the historic city center was a schlep up a hill and at the edge of town.

Staff Make for a Lovely Stay
The hotel appears newish and is modern with basic furniture. The staff at Hotel Aziza are what make it a great place to stay. They are incredibly helpful and always friendly and nice. Breakfasts were homemade with lots of selections. Good wifi. Many reviewers commented on the position of the hotel up a hill. It is indeed up a very, steep, long hill. Going down is easy, but the trip back up can be daunting.

Beautiful clean hotel. Beds exceptionally comfortable. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Kenan, the tour guide, was excellent. Used his services three times. Ample,varied,delicious breakfast buffet. Very close to old town. Being disabled steep hill back to hotel difficult so generally took taxi back which was easy and inexpensive

A well-run, lovely little boutique hotel that, among other things, benefits from a superb location five minutes away from the old town. There wasn't a single staff member who wasn't willing go out of their way to make our visit the best it could be. Sarajevo itself itself is a fascinating, beautiful city that suffered mightily during the conflict 25 years ago, but signs of recovery are everywhere and the people who live there could use more income from tourism. Stay here, visit the Children's War Museum, eat lunch at Klopa or Dveri, two of many terrific restaurants we enjoyed. Our visit here was one of the true highlights of our recent journey.

Love the Hotel Aziza
Amazing service, beautiful hotel, large and clean room, clean and well-appointed bathroom. The breakfast was delicious, phenomenal view. Will definitely stay here again.

Hotel staff is incredible. Our booking was made last minute and they were very kind to quickly arrange a pickup at the airport (thank you Fahrudin!) and made us feel immediately at home when we arrived. Room was bright and spacious and clean. Breakfast had nice variety and we really enjoyed the Bosnian coffee. Location is very convenient to old town, and sits just a short walk up the hill. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back again.

New hotel. Big clean room. Great Breakfasts. Fast wifi. Helpful staff. Unfortunately our room was no view 1970 and 10mints walk old town. It is hill up. Hard to small kid. However great 4star in sarajevo.

Die Leute waren nett. Als wir ankamen waren wir geschockt das visavie ein riesiger Friedhof ist. Dann bekamen wir nicht das gebuchte Zimmer sondern ein anderes. Wir haben die auf das aufmerksam gemacht und durften dann ein anderes haben. Es war schmutzig, mein Partner und ich wurden Operiert und mussten in ein sauberes Hotel wechseln, da er von Bettwanzen verbissen wurde. Wir waren 1 Woche da in dem verlausten Hotel Aziza. Und bekamen nichts zurück, wir haben alles im voraus gebucht und bezahlt.Wir sind entäuscht von ebookers.

Wir waren 1 Woche im Hotel aziza und äußert zufrieden. Das Hotel ist ein kleines gemütliches Familienhotel und wir haben uns auf Anhieb willkommen gefühlt. Das gesamte Personal ist sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Auf alle Fragen oder bitten wird sofort eingegangen. Das Hotel ist sehr am Hügel, wenn man Schwierigkeiten mit dem laufen hat, dann ist ein Spaziergang vom Hotel in die Altstadt eher schwierig. Das Frühstücksbüffet war ebenfalls sehr lecker gewesen, es gab Abwechslung und verschiedene Auswahlmöglichkeiten pro Tag. Der Zimmerservice ist noch etwas verbesserungsfähig, das benutzte Geschirr wurde leider nicht ausgewechselt.
