Hotel.com should remove this property
It was the worst stay in my life. The manager of hotel was very rude to me and to my wife. In addition to it, I paid a premium to get a room with a terrace and when I arrived the same person told me that there were no more rooms with terrace. I ended to be in an smaller room and WITH NO HOT WATER. It is a sky area and we needed to take a shower. It was not possible. I also called the police since there were 40 families with no water and no effective answer from the hotel,

Excellent ski location, good breakfast, 2 star
When reading this you need to appreciate this is a 2 star hotel, not a 4 or 5 star. Visited with partner and 10 yr old daughter for 6 nights Feb 19 half term ski trip (being half term it was quite expensive for what it is, but that's the school holidays rip off for you!) . Breakfast excellent for a 2 star, good choice, lovely croissants etc...location v central, 2 mins to Auron gorge cable car, that links straight to the full mountain cable car, ski nursery slopes and rest of the lift system. Good variety of ski runs, lots of blues around the mountains, but plenty of good blacks and reds to alpine standards. Did not eat in hotel much in evenings, but plenty of restaurants in centre, large portions, peak season you need to book at least a day ahead. Owner, was helpful, nice views/balcony across gorge to ski slopes beyond. What was the downside!, rooms quite small, very thin walls! and various noises from water and heating systems and services. Hot water ran out some days between 17.00 and 19.00, but not a problem at other times.

Basic but good breakfast.
Basic hotel but we didn't get the room we asked for. Instead we got bed and breakfast which was very good. Facilities are sparse but ok if you are skiing all day.

A very friendly hotel in an excellent location.
We had a very pleasant stay at this hotel. It was very convenient for the slopes and the town. The staff were very friendly. The restaurant and bar were nicely decorated. Our room was rather small for 3 and the bathroom needs modernising. We would however stay there again.

Query! But in a good way. Excellent location, Auron is a beautiful little place, typically alpine. Hotel is dated with a definite Christmas theme but it added character! Breakfast expensive for what is on offer compared with other hotels, lots of local cafes would probably have been a better option. Rooms at rear with balcony have beautiful views and afternoon sun, worth the few extra euros.

Fair? I think your after 5* at 2* prices
Well people who rate it fair are obviously expecting 21 carrot on a 9 carrot budget. I have paid an awful lot more and received an awful lot less. It's 2 star and in my eyes a 3, our room for 3 had a balcony overlooking all the runs and was a fabulous view recap and look out at and recall the runs

vacances de rêve réussies
Séjour très réussi : belle chambre avec grand balcon muni de chaise longue, chaises et table face à la montagne où nous avons profité des derniers rayons de soleil après le ski, Petit déjeuner varié et copieux avec salade de fruits frais, fruits frais, baguettes variées, variété dans les viennoiseries, fromages, charcuterie, etc. Repas du soir lui aussi varié, bon et copieux.

Great service
Service was great, reception and restaurant. Very friendly and helpful staff. The skiing room where you put on your slalom boots were on the ground floor, with easy access from inside and outside of the hotel. The hotel is also very close to the gondol/lift. The hotel’s condition is what most of these types of hotels are, very worn down and out of date. Although I must mention that last year we stayed at the 3 star hotel next door, that really surprised me compared to this, which only have 2 stars. In other words the whole family were more satisfied staying at this hotel. If I have to point out any improvements it has to be answering their phone. Prior to our stay I tried to call several times, and left a couple of voicemails. At the end I wrote an e-mail which they replayed. The parking can also be challenging, pending on when you are there of course. All in all a good stay, with great service.

Das Hotel hat seine besten Zeiten hinter sich. Für das Gebotene klar zu teuer. Sehr positiv: Flexibilität und Freundlichkeit für ein früheres Frühstück.

Bien mieux que 2 étoiles.
Cet hôtel vaut mieux qu'un 2 étoiles. Un balcon donnant sur une vue splendide des montagnes, et même des produits de toilette, ce que je n'ai pas eu dans mon séjour en 3 étoiles le mois dernier. Le propriétaire Hubert est absolument charmant.

Impeccable : propre, agréable, sympa.

Personnel sympa et arrangeant pour disposer de la chambre . Super piano dans le salon( à disposition) Emplacement idéal à côté des restaurants et du télécabine principal. Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion de rester le chef de cuisine . Ce sera pour la prochaine fois.

Hôtel familial idéalement situé avec vue magnifiqu
Nous avons apprécié son emplacement central dans le village avec la télécabine à deux pas. Le restaurant est spacieux, avec vue dégagée sur le domaine skiable. Le personnel est très compétent et attentionné. Bref, nous y avons passé un trés bon séjour.

L'hôtel est en cours de travaux. La chambre triple est petite. Le ménage à mal été fait. On sentait l'urine dans les wc. Le sol n'a jamais été lavé.les fils électriques de l'interrupteur étaient visibles voire dénudés . dangereux pour les enfants. Sinon le petit déjeuner était copieux mais le service un peu long.Belle vue sur les pistes de skis et matelas correct.

Classico albergo di montagna molto economico. Le camere sono molto vecchie e l'arredo quasi inesistente. La pulizia del letto e del bagno era buona ma per il resto lo stato generale della camera scadente. Va bene se dovete dormirci qualche notte o se siete disposti ad adattarvi molto. La vista è ottima sulla montagna.

Globalement déçue. Pour une escapade en amoureux tranquille et sans enfants c'était rate car mal insonorise (les enfants de l'étage en dessous nous ont réveilles des 7h du mat). Le repas était de qualité correcte, même si pour le petit déjeuner pas de buffet, pas de sale et les œufs en supplément. L'emplacement dans la station est idéal et le personnel accueillant.
