"Very nice bed & breakfast with our own bathroom connected to the room. Rooms are a little on the small side but comfortable. It was a cold, rainy day & when we asked about the heat we were told it was off for the summer but hostess graciously turned it on so that we could get warmed up. Very pleasant hostess who welcomed us & suggested a restaurant nearby for dinner (Powers Thatch Bar & Restaurant) which was excellent. Breakfast was home cooked by hostess & good variety. "We loved it! The host was so nice. Our room was amazing. It was clean, comfortable and really pretty. In our room there was a private bathroom. The view from our room was also breathtaking! Breakfast was good and there were many options. We didn't have a car but it was okay. Tom the taxi driver was very helpful and drove us to Oughterard and back where we could hop on a bus! If you don't have a car please plan your trip carefully. This guesthouse was definitely worth visiting! We recommend it....

"The entire house is disgustingly dirty. Very unsafe too. Few of windows have cracks, no ventilation, many windows have no openings. Bathroom door was held by screws which were loose, we had to tightened it in case fall down onto one of kids. Mattress we slept on was stained and yellow.. Location isn’t great either. For five nights stay we paid €2600. We never had such horrendous experience."

"Small lobby and tight parking as is often the case in city hotels. However, the staff was very friendly. We had a great breakfast…we left early on our second morning and opted for breakfast on the road. Our absolute highlight of our stay here (and one of our highlights of our whole trip) was the live music session they had on Thursday night. There were 8 musicians and it was true session-style - they were not a band, they didn’t all know each other, they just showed up with their instruments and started playing together. They took turns picking the next song…it was all completely spontaneous. We loved every minute. "
