"Great room, amazing view, great location"

"This hotel is very nice. The Grill had amazing food. We had an amazing server named Sophia. Our food was top notch. The hot tub overlooking the city was really cool and I enjoyed the saunas and steam room. I liked our room but I was disappointed because I had paid top dollar for a grand junior suite with a view of the Matterhorn but realized after my first night that the hotel had given me the worst possible room of that category. It did not match the photo on Expedia. You had to walk out on the balcony in order to view the Matterhorn and there were two windows that showed a view of construction across the street. When I talked with the manager, he was very nice and comped our dinner but his hands were tied since I booked and paid through Expedia. I would just be aware that you may not get the room you booked. "

"Comparable to any 5 star resort on this planet in terms of service and cleanliness. The staff was AMAZING. First free drinks, then a tour of the facility. This hotel should teach a master class on service and staff loyalty. Every employee is friendly and eager to serve. I can't recommend Hotel Matthiol enough. I wish they had locations in every city because I'd book them exclusively from here on."
