"It was windy and rainy when we flew into Melbourne but we were able to get to the hotel easily and most of the walk was undercover which was good. It was less than a 10 minute walk from the Virgin luggage carousel to the hotel.
Check in was easy. The room was clean and comfortable and we got a free shuttle back to the airport at 03:30 the next morning which was handy, given the weather hadn't improved. We'd stay there again if we had a very early flight out of Tullamarine."

"The reception and staff were amazing.Nothing was too much trouble.
Location just 3 mins to airport. Shuttle available tho we didn't need it.
Our flight was too early so we sadlycouldn't have breakfast.
Enjoyed the spa in the evening."

"Tolles altes Herrenhaus, schöner Garten, Poolanlage sollte wieder mal renoviert werden, die Sauberkeit ließ dort leider zu wünschen übrig. Frühstück super lecker."

"I have stayed at quite a few luxury hotels and the Sofitel never fails to impress!
Unfortunately due to an accident, we lost power, however the generator jumped into action quite quickly, With unprecedented work noise outside due to the accident, I was offered a relocation to another room, however at that time of night I asked for and was provided with earplugs. Eventually fell to sleep and slept well.
As an apology, even though it was their fault, I have been offered a free room...
