The golden crown is an exceptional hotel in Prague. The room was top notch with all the facilities you will need. Old town and the cathedral are walking distance.

Centrally located in Prague. About a 10-15 minute walk to most places like main train station and Charles Bridge. Room was a good size and clean. Breakfast was a buffet.

I stayed for 5 nights at Golden Crown Hotel and the first thing I want to commend is the staff. What was nicest was that they were available 24/7, so if you needed anything no matter what time of the day or night, they were available to you. And what was even nicer was how nice the staff was at any given point in time. They all seemed to know how to get you what you needed and how to help you; I so appreciated the impeccable customer service. The second thing that was great was the location of this hotel. Located on one of the oldest streets in Prague, it has a very centralized location. I do walk rather quickly, but it only took me 5-7 minutes to get to Wenceslas Square and about 10 to get to Old Town Square (I recommend learning the back roads to get to places quicker). We had the free breakfast for one day, and it was pretty nice. You also receive a discount for the Italian restaurant next door, which also is pretty nice. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Golden Crown, and it will be my future go-to for my stays in the Golden City.

Great location, staff friendly and very helpful , they were always willing to assist, and with a smile!! The room was clean, big, and beautifully decorated. One thing that I was impressed with was that before my arrival, I contacted the hotel regarding transportation from the airport to the hotel, and even though the hotel doesn't offer that service, they kindly made arrangements for someone to pick me up at the airport, and also to take me back to the airport. I highly recommend this hotel!!!

Great location for the Christmas markets

We loved our stay at the Golden Crown. We had a spacious corner room with a great view. The location is ideal for exploring Prague. Staff was friendly and attentive. The breakfast buffet was excellent.

A great choice
A lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Easy access to all the main tourist sights. Staff were friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. There was a good choice for breakfast and the food was good. I would recommend this hotel to anybody visiting Prague.

This is our favorite hotel in Prague! It’s situated in a quiet area but is within walking distance of everything you want to see there. The staff are exceptional, the rooms are beautiful and comfortable, and the restaurant next door, Invitaly, is fantastic!

A very conveniently located hotel, clean renovated rooms. One complaint however: bed frames are made of wood and have sharp edges. I have painfully bumped my shins into these a couple of times. Maybe the hotel management can put soft fabric over those sharp corners. Other than that no complaints. Kafka’s head (being remodeled during the writing of this review) is in front of the hotel.

We visited as a couple in Sept 2023. This hotel was ideally situated for the Old Town and was easily reached by any of several tram routes. It was only 4 stops ftom the main rail station, which itself was where the Airport Express shuttle left. The hotel was very clean and our room was large with a Kingsize bed. There were tea and coffee making facilities and a fridge. Our room on the first floor was just above the on-site restaurant but, being in a quiet area, we slept well. The on-site restaurant was good value for breakfast providing a wide choice of cooked and continental food. We also enjoyed dinner there, though there are plenty choices for eating out nearby. Service from all staff was friendly, efficient and helpful. We'd certainly return.

The Golden Crown is a wonderful hotel that is in a perfect location to be able to walk to most of the attractions in old town. It's a beautiful old building with high ceiling rooms. We traveled with another couple who travel to Europe annually and they told us after they checked in was that they have never stayed in this nice of a hotel when overseas and that they couldn't believe how reasonably priced it was! The restaurant was fantastic and the hotel staff was friendly and always helpful. I couldn't recommend this hotel enough!

I had a fantastic stay at the Golden Crown hotel in Prague. First and foremost, cleanliness is a top priority for me, and this hotel certainly delivered. The rooms and common areas were impeccably clean, which made for a comfortable and worry-free stay. The staff at the Golden Crown were not only friendly but also incredibly helpful. They provided us with valuable recommendations for places to visit and dine in Prague. Their local insights added a special touch to our trip. Location-wise, the Golden Crown couldn’t have been better situated. Being right next to the Kafka sculpture was a delightful surprise. It’s also conveniently just a 10-minute walk from the old town square, allowing us to explore the beautiful neighborhood with ease. In summary, I highly recommend the Golden Crown hotel to anyone visiting Prague. It combines cleanliness, friendly staff, and an excellent location for an unforgettable stay in this enchanting city.
