"The hotel itself & staff were excellent. Most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! Immaculate room! My only complaints are that it was hard to find - signage poor, parking carried an unexpected charge of 17€ and there was an additional, unexpected refundable deposit of 100€ on top of the room. Nowhere in the hotel descriptions was this highlighted. It was very windy with heavy rain when I stayed and even though I was on the third floor, the noise on roof surfaces and in the air con venting...

"What an amazing experience staying at The Windsor. The room was splendid with a superb view and it was spacious and clean. The receptionist was so cordial and welcoming. "Whilst the property itself was fine and yes, the pool listed in the the hotel next door ( maybe 30 second walk across the carpark) our stay was disturbed but by the hotel but by other guests. For some reason the people in the room next door kept opening/ unlocking their door every 10-15 minutes between 11.30pm and 2.30am, which was so loud, the first time we thought someone was trying to get in our room. Weird guests aside, the hotel was clean and tidy (room a little on the small side) shower...

"It was an unscheduled stay due to cancelled ferry. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room comfortable and clean. Good varied menu in the bar. Food was excellent. Left at 5 am so didn’t have breakfast but it was all set out ready if you needed it. "
