Our stay was pretty good! My biggest complaint would have to be the food. There is only 1 option until 6:30 pm. With that being said, the food at the place that is open for every meal is sub par. The workers that were there were great, however I think the entire facility needs more workers. The service was slow. Again we t wasn’t slow because the workers weren’t working hard, there just weren’t enough workers. The beach is enclosed by boats which takes away that beach feel. We felt like we were at the lake for a few days.

As a young couple in our 20s on our honeymoon, we truly enjoyed our stay. The staff was SO nice, the property was so clean, there were activities every day, and the staff were extremely helpful. I cannot say enough good things about this place. As picky eaters we struggled a little bit when it came to the food at the buffet but the snack bar and other safe options were always available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

DO NOT STAY HERE! The pictures are deceiving. The water around the resorts beach is extremely dirty and it stinks so bad. We were not able to get in the ocean at the resort. The entire stay we had the smell of sewer flowing through the entire property. The pool is not filtered throughout the day so it is stagnant. The hot tub is colder than the pool and the pumps do not get turned on by the staff. The staff at the buffet is RUDE! The daily activities were either cut short or didn’t happen.we had a large party with 5 rooms reserved. We weren’t able to sit together at our restaurant reservations as they don’t accommodate larger groups. One of our rooms was flooded from an air conditioner leak in a neighboring room; we had to reallocate all of our belongings to another families room and they had no remorse or offered any type of compensation.

Great location for walking into town. Nice quiet resort. Not much to do there. Very small resort. Food was excellent. Only 2 restaurants and a buffet. Hot tub was broken and pool needed cleaning while there or would have rated higher.

A relatively small resort that is easy to navigate. Located close to Playa’s main thoroughfare of shops and restaurants. Food is good and rooms are fairly large. One issue is that for some strange reason smoke detectors are placed right over the head of the bed and I, being a very light sleeper, was actually disturbed by the (very bright!) blinking light emitted by it. It would make more sense to place it above the TV.

Our stay began awesome, we were given an Oceanside room, the staff was attentive and the room was very clean. Even though the beds are awful and the pillows are hard as rocks, the resort itself was bearable due to the customer service we thought existed. By our third night there, it became apparent that housekeeping did not take their job serious, the days they actually showed up, they did not sweep the floor, dirty linens were put on our bed, dirty towels were stocked and every time we asked for them to clean they would not show up until late in the evening or not at all. Our Beautiful Oceanside view quickly became a nightmare when we realized that they housed us to directly above the sports bar that is open until 2:00 a.m. our entire vacation was spent sleepless and exhausted because there were loud obnoxious drunks keeping us up with their wretched laughing until 3:00 or 4:00 in the morning. Air conditioning unit leaked which caused me to slip and fall and injure myself, what we thought was going to be a full refund as an effort to make right, turned out to only be half of a refund which we were not informed of until we were only minutes from leaving to the airport. All in all I would not recommend this place. The food made both me and my wife very sick. We left the resort tired, exhausted and both with debilitating stomach issues.... Not a very great honeymoon location

Staff was great, good customer service. My only concern with this property is the water and horrible sewer smell all around the property. The water had a really bad smell, unbearable which I know is unsafe to shower in and inhale. The food could be a lot better. I was nauseous and vomiting from eating from the dinner buffet. The Japanese restaurant “no kids allowed” due to the “knives” so no hibachi. Do I recommend this property?! In all honesty NO.
