"The room was wonderful, beautiful views of the bay and beach. However the floors were filthy. Management needs to hire a tile cleaning company to professionally clean the floors. The dust mop method used by the hotel staff does not work. If you walk aroung barefooted in the room your feet WILL become black."

"We had a very nice stay at the tiny house! (Keep in mind, it is tiny) But very comfortable!! An unique experience and the property was outstanding compared to all the other units in the vicinity. It had a nice spacious canal front deck, and kayaks with a launching deck. Complete mini kitchen and great coffee preps. The beds were very comfortable and unit was very clean and updated. Decorated nicely! Loved the loft! Great alternative to a hotel room. We would definitely stay at Matlacha Tiny...

"Such a nice low-key place for my family. Quiet, secure, clean and near the beach. Certainly a bit older (I felt like I was in an episode of golden girls :) but clean, spacious, and everything in working order. Front office staff was very helpful and friendly. They had cruiser bikes for use and strainers to find shark teeth at the beach. Fantastic value for me and my family.
