This hotel was not up to the cleanliness I expected. There were a significant amount of bugs crawling around the bathroom. They were not cockroaches but some kind of beetle I had not seen before. The location was OK but not close enough walking distance to get to good restaurants or markets. I paid $50 a night for a larger room. It was OK but I don't think I will book this place again for my next trip in December.

I found mould in the bathroom from insufficient cleaning. Pool had tiles missing from bottom. Staff had trouble understanding english. Early checkout took over half hour. The area is pretty dark and smelly, but if thats what your seeking this will suit. I think ok for backpackers but certainly not high standard hotel. Still a lot of work to bring up to scratch

In a quiet area and walking distance of orussey market. The staff were friendly and the free breakfast is good, especially the noodle soup!

Fantastic Hotel and Amazing tuk-tuk driver
We had such a wonderful stay in Phnom Penh and the Orussey is part of what made our visit so great. The service levels were outstanding, with a friendly and approachable team. The breakfast was fantastic and the hotel was spotlessly clean. The only downsides were that the shower wasn't hot (not the biggest issue as the city was so hot, but a cold shower is still not ideal) and the TV didn't work (probably just dead batteries in the remote control - we didn't miss the TV, but it could be missed by other guests). The highlight of this hotel for us was the tuk-tuk driver, Kiri! He is the warmest, most attentive man we've met. We genuinely miss him! He was fantastic in showing us around the city, ensuring we ate at nice places, knew how to get into everywhere we wanted to see, patiently waited for us at each stop and was sincerely one of the nicest people we've ever met. There were no attempts to divert us from where we wanted to go, no attempts to encourage us to buy anything or pay extra. He is an absolute asset to the hotel and I hope he is told how much we enjoyed his company.

Un endroit calme à Phnom Penh
Un hôtel avec des gens sympathiques qui a sûrement eu ces moments de gloire. La section piscine manque un peu d’amour mais dans l’ensemble tout est bien et propre donc pour le prix nous sommes satisfait

One tiny elevator for 12 floors. You end up waiting a long time and then often it is full so you have to wait longer.

I stayed at the Orussey One Boutique ( sister hotel for 28 nights ) before moving to the Orussey One Hotel and Apartment for a further 9 nights. Highly recommended ( both hotels ), clean and spacious rooms. The rooftop pool area and view are amazing. For the price I doubt you'll find a better hotel for the price in Phnom Penh. Highly impressed.

The property was great but our room had cockroaches. The staff was great especially Hong Naroth, she always was super friendly and nice and helped us with whatever we needed.

Disappointing at first as the photos are very flattering of the hotel amenities do not reflect reality. However the once there the hotel is a good base and the pool whilst small is good. The staff are friendly and helpful. The breakfast has a very wide choice of fare. Only issue is there is only one lift so there can be a wait.

There were plenty of tut tut available. The breakfast was very good. However, I had dinner there and it was not that good. I would have liked for the location to have a night market to shop and to try some of the home cooked food.

1. Poor and rude customer service rendered by staff upon making request for complimentary 2 beverage as confirmed by Expedia in their email to me prior to my visit. Furthermore, only 1 breakfast voucher was given for each night although paid for 2. 2. Only able to checked in after 4pm when I had specifically requested for early check-in. 3. Shower was cold instead of hot. Requested the staff to check but never sent anyone to sort it out. Had to bathe cold water for 3 days. 4. Only 2 small water bottles given. 5. Totally dissatisfied and will never return to Orussey.

The staff from breakfast and at the bar at the pool were amazing! The rest were awful. It all started from the guy that receives you out the door, seemed nice enough when I got there; however, every time I left , he did something shady... from trying to oversell me the hotels Transportation and then another time asking me multiple times what my room was and then not letting my tuktuk go; And then lying to my face that it was a hotel rule. After my day outting, I consulted management and confirmed that he was lying. They said that was okay, not to worry. I didn’t feel safe at that point, and asked for a different room. They first tried to give me a crappier room ( loud due to the fact it was on the second floor). Then asked to moved, and again manager acted non apologetic for the whole distress. I would say avoid this place.... that’s unfortunate for the staff who were actually great. I will never return.

Good hotel with a nice view of city, could do a few improvements with restaurant staff service on level 1 (staff didnt look happy and didn't seem keen on sorting out our queries about food) and hotel cleanliness (cockroaches on ground floor and small baby ones in the room). Cant expect much as well considering the country and location we stayed in

Value Hotel
Maintenance of the Aircon in the rooms should improve. We switched rooms 3 times. The first 2 rooms were so hot and stuffy my wife and I were perspiring. It was cooler out on the streets. Breakfast was good. Staff were good. Bed kinda hard. Lobby and corridors on the room levels was hot and stuffy. Rooms and toilets generally clean although in need of minor upgrades. Overall you get what you pay for and what you pay for this hotel is value.

Great Stay
There were 3 of us, Grandparents and 14 year old Grandchild. We felt the location of the Hotel was excellent We could walk to the nearby market, a convenience store was 5 minutes walk away, there was always tuk tuks available outside the Hotel, also the Hotel has a bus, they arranged our transport to the airport. A lovely Cambodian owned restaurant 2 mins walk away named Mama served delicious French, Cambodian food, so reasonable, a good Korean restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast was included, which was Asian and Western, very good, great view. Pool on roof top, great sunset views, with a gym. We felt this hotel was more appropriate with a young person 14 years old than River Side. The Hotel organized a trip to Silk Island, and Killing Fields, Genocide Museum, all very reasonable.

Stayed here for one night. Room was adequate for purpose but the bathroom was small and the shower flooded quite easily. Also, had some small flies. Nice roof top pool although we didn’t have time to use it. Felt the hotel ripped me off with airport transfer. On return- obtained it for half the price!
