"Great place for a family holiday. Kids 5 and 7 absolutely loved it. Went to kids club daily which got them out of the heat. Loved the slides, kids water park. The pools were hot, not refreshing. The rooms had great air con, which was needed as it was so hot. We ate outside the hotel every night, and easy to get tuk tuk, or walk. Lots around this hotel. "My wife and I spent 5 nights at JW Marriott Khao Lak Resort & Spa in April, 2024. The room and beach were great. The facility itself is enormous, far more so than I had realized when I booked our stay. It's a Marriott, so expect meals to be priced double (or triple) what you might pay at nearby (and far less fancy) restaurants; indeed, meals were priced a good bit higher than what we had paid at similar or nicer hotels in Seam Reap, Bangkok and Hanoi. Perhaps the absence of high end...
