I am writing this as i am still staying at this hotel. The only thing good about this hotel is the price and proximity to Champs Elysee. My room was right near the stairs. Horrible. People stomping up the stairs all night. Noisy. No air condition room was stuffy. Shower was awful and slippery. I was expecting a tub for a full bath. Gnats flying around my room. Supposed to have a water bottle replaced everyday. It was not replaced as it should have been. Talk about cheap. I would never stay here again. Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else. But if you like no air, gnats and lots of noise then you will be okay

Dear Madam,We are very surprised about your comment as you seemed very happy during your stay and you never told us anything wrong, each time you saluted us at the reception desk.Anyway, let clarify the reality versus your version. We have no room next the stairs. You booked a classic room, which is specifically describeb as equipped with a walking shower (never with a bathtub only available for higher category rooms). We have never mentioned free water on a dailly basis. Only welcome bottle. Welcome means on the first day. Air conditonned when the weather is pretty cold is a non sense. On 53 rooms, you were the very only one to have mosquitos in your room.The Expedia.com readers will surely make themselves the right opion regarding this comment.

Good location. We used Uber and they picked us up at McDonald’s on corner adjacent to hotel. ATM located a block away as were several bakeries to get croissants for breakfast. Metro station (Charles deGaulle) is nearby. 24-hr front desk was a huge plus. They were helpful in finding our way around. There is a small elevator so no stairs or steps to climb to rooms. There is a circular staircase from the lobby downtown breakfast area. Cons: room was very small although that’s not uncommon in Europe. Beds were a bit too firm for us. Noise from sirens were disruptive. Heating in room is either on or off; you can’t manage temp setting. Helpful to have a window that opened to dispel the heat before we found out how to turn off the heat. We visited in Feb, so it was cold outside; even so, for us the heat constantly “on” was too much at night.

Breakfast buffet wasn’t refilled as things were emptied. Shower poorly designed so that the shower head just sprays the other side of the bathroom all over the toilet and extra rolls of toilet paper. Also: no non-stick/friction surfacing to very slick tub, and no handles or anything to assist getting in & out of tub which was elevated to difficult height getting into, very dangerous. Housekeeping took 25-30 minutes to respond for any request. Requested ice & they delivered a single glass with three half-melted cubes in it. Room service insisted on pre-charging for any order instead of allowing it to just be billed to the room. Housekeeping staff used same single elevator which caused long waits on a couple of occasions where they and their cart were taking up the elevator and had to wait longer for it to finally return to our floor.

Only stayed for one night. Was upgraded to a jr suite. Room was clean and spacious. Property did seem bit dated, but still elegant and tasteful. Close to arc de triomphe and champ. Did not explore hotel or interact much with staff.

Ideal location, well kept hotel!
Friendly staff, room very spacious, bed really comfy and clean. The only problem i had issues with was trying to climb in the bath to have a shower and you felt as though the bath was going to break. Location is great, 1 minute from Arc and metro station. I would definately stay again even though it was hard getting in the bath.

Perfect Paris base
Long weekend stay. The staff at this hotel were - without exception - hugely friendly. The hotel is very well located just steps from the Arc de Triomphe. The rooms are not huge but are very comfortable and spotless. Breakfast room is nice. I’d definitely recommend for anyone visiting Paris.

Good location
Really great location. Close to a metro stop and the Arc. The only downside is that the hotel has central heat and air so you can control the full temperature in your room. We were there in spring but they hadn’t switched off the heat yet so it was hot in our room at time and all we could do was open a window.

Worth your time and money, and great location!
Had a very nice time. The hotel is undergoing renovation, and with good reason, because it's a bit run down and needs some work. The rooms are quite small, but if you ask for the standard room with a bath, it's considerably bigger than the standard room with just a shower, and it's the same price! Service was excellent, and knowing a little French goes a long way. Bonus is that it's just two blocks from the Arc de Triomphe, and all the sights are easy to get to, using a taxi, Bolt, or Uber. Really enjoyed our stay here.

We had a wonderful time at this hotel. Our room was spacious, clean, and very pretty. The location is perfect and in walking distance of many things including the Eiffel Tower. There are lots of shopping and dining options on the next street over as well. They have a great breakfast for 15 euros per person if you’d like. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. They are currently renovating so that the rooms and area can be modernized. We were in a room that was recently updated and it was very nice. The only thing I didn’t love was the shower. Our was small and there is no avoiding getting water all over the bathroom floor with the way the shower is set up. There is hardly any room for one person. Maybe the showers in larger rooms are bigger. Other than that we absolutely loved our stay!

Lift is quite small only allows 3 paxs (max) try to ensure they do not give you level 7 as the lift is only up till level 6. You have to carry your luggage up to level 7 yourself. Staff attitude have room for improvement. Other then that all are good.

We stayed at this hotel for a week and were generally pleased with our visit. The hotel is very well located-right next to the Arc De Triomphe and the Charles De Gaulle Etoille Metro station. The staff was absolutely lovely and available 24hrs a day. The room was recently renovated. The new bathtub was large and deep-allowing for a relaxing soak after all the walking throughout the day. The only issue we had with our stay was that the mattress was VERY firm. It made it rather difficult to sleep some nights.

Booked for a birthday trip with my partner…. Got in contact with the hotel early on as to lay on some chocolates and wine. Everyone was super pleasant and we got an exquisite reception and the room was decorated with balloons and was lovely! Definitely best place to book well within 5 mins of the train station. Super easy to get to from the airport.

The property had no air conditioning. I booked this hotel specifically because it stated it had air conditioning but it didn't. I had to leave my window up to make the room cooler. I was really disappointed to find out the hotel "doesn't have air conditioning". If this is the case, they need to state that before people book. The hotel really needed some updates as well.

However, as the cold season has came, we have started our heater system. Most of guest had been requesting for it. Amazing location. Friendly staff. Clean property but the hotel is fairly outdated. Bring your own toiletries as the one provided by the hotel is very small and below mediocre. Don’t have high expectations of the hotel or it’s amenities. It’s great for a place to stay, sleep, shower.

The staff responded to all our questions before, during and after our stay. My husband left some shirts there and they were helpful in getting them mailed to us. The room was a little small for two people but the location was fabulous. Note if you arrive by train from the airport you will be dragging luggage up several flights of stairs at this stop but once you get to street level, via Exit 4, it is an easy, short walk to the hotel. There are nice restaurants near by.
