We just loved our stay at this hotel! The staff were so friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the lovely breakfast buffet as well. We were just steps from the Louvre and incredible patisseries. Truly a wonderful experience.

We stayed at the Hotel de la Place du Louvre for ten days. The location of the hotel is excellent, just steps away from the rue de Rivoli and the Pont Neuf and Rivoli metro stops. The staff are all very welcoming and helpful. We enjoyed the tasty buffet breakfast in the charming caveaux and the afternoon goodies provided daily. The rooms are small but tastefully decorated and include a coffee/tea maker. This is a charming boutique hotel!

The location of this hotel was amazing. The room not so much. The refrigerator didn’t work which they finally changed out on our last day. The hotel has no amenities. They had an honor bar and a small bottle of wine was 45 euro! Room was super small and the air conditioner barely worked.

The location was great, right in front of the louvre museum. Love the baguette and croissant they provided for breakfast, so good!!! It was so sweet they also provided nice snacks, free soda and Evian water with glass bottles in the room.

We unfortunately got put on the 5th floor. The lift only went to the 4th floor because of a fault so then we had to get the stairs to the 5th, although this was a minor issue. The real climb is when we got in the room, we realised the bathroom was up some near verticle ladders to a mezzanine floor (obviously they dont show this room 503 on any photos). Unless you're an experience mountaineer id recommend asking for another room. Also there was no shower just a bath because of the low celing height. The location was perfect, however for £250 a night I was expecting much more. Also the coffee machine didnt work, so they changed it, also no iron or board in the room you have to ask at reception. The one that got delivered was so old Napoleon has probably used it at some point.

It was an amazing location, within seconds you are outside the louvre, walking along the Seine or in the heart of loads of bars and restaurants. The hotel itself has nice, friendly staff and cute rooms which are nicely presented and clean however the only issue we had was we asked for our room to be cleaned as we had breakfast in the room. When we got back the cleaner hadn't cleared the breakfast or made the bed and had only seemed to empty the bin.

Great location to see everything!
The location is fantastic - a block from Louvre, Samaritaine and Seine river for a good walk. This is the perfect place if you want to see all of them including Palais Royal and also Saint Honore which is a few minutes walk for shopping. You can see the Eiffel Tower from Pont Neuf which is a block away as well as Pont Des Arts. The hotel service is great. Elevator is a bit of a challenge as it can only fit 4 people or 2 with luggages. We were on the second floor and the stairs are not that long so we just took the stairs everyday except when we had luggages. Room is small as expected but we didn’t have an issue as we unpack our stuff so we had a good space to walk around. The bed is comfortable and hot water is great which is very important to me. Everything works out for us as a couple. This is a hotel we will stay again for sure and would highly recommend.

Close to the Louvre
We stayed three nights at the hotel, based on its proximity to the Louvre, Notre Dame and the Musee de l'Orangerie. For that, it was extremely convenient. Unfortunately, our tour of the Louvre (and the Eiffel Tower) were cancelled due to the strikes in Paris in March 2023. But hotel is centrally located to many fine restaurants and other attractions.

Love this hotel location!
We really loved this hotel! The hotel clerks were very helpful and friendly. The location was perfect! Easy access to the subway, shopping, dining and several sites you'll want to see are walkable. The location was very safe and quiet. We'll definitely stay there again.

Wonderful Stay
