Staff are accommodating, very helpful, rooms are ok but some rooms have air conditioning but some don’t. The offer breakfasts, lunch & dinner with reasonable prices. Place is 15 minutes walk from RER train.

This is a good place if you speak french and are looking to have a basic room while staying outside of the popular Paris attraction areas. The night shift/late afternoon staff was very friendly and the maid service was very good. My advice for any english speaking travelers is to avoid this hotel and to stay in the city center where the main attractions are and english as a second language is spoken more. Almost all guests were french/french speaking so i assume not alot of English-speaking travelers stay here often. The night/afternoon shift gentleman (possible manager) speaks enough english that you will understand him well, but the morning staff's english is not there and they were not very welcoming/friendly as the afternoon/night shifts! We had a very stressful and disastrous checkout due to the lack of English between all 3 people at the front desk, unfriendliness/lack of care, and communication/notes on our room between the different shifts.

Check-in was my only good impression about hotel Campanille. Everything else was disappointing; my room was not cleaned properly and there were spill stains in several places, which could have easily been cleaned by the housekeepers. The carpet was full of burnt or some kin of spots. Breakfast stops being served at 10? 9 am according to signs? And I also wasn’t able to have dinner. This hotel seems to cater to groups.

The check in was fine as we were early but allowed into our room which was quite small although bed was ok size and comfortable. I suppose the price reflected this ! No details or information file to tell us about hotel/ meal times or surrounding areas etc hence we missed breakfast the next morning and there were no signs anywhere by the Restuarnt entrance indicating times. When we asked the receptionist she was totally indifferent and not helpful I eventually found the times on the back of our room door in very tiny print !!! Breakfast was poor quality and we had to keep asking for items that had run out and our buffet dinner on last evening was appalling DONT EAT THERE !! Won’t stay again

I liked that my room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The heater was too small and doesn't warm the room enough. There shower is really nice but the toilet seat is too close to the wall. So its awkward to sit on. The room only gets cleaned once in the mornings so if you miss that time and say your sleeping in late it won't be cleaned until tomorrow. No fridge. No room service ? (Not specified). Staff are really kind and helpful. Food tastes nice especially the bakery. No Halal food. I don't think food gets brought up to you and didn't try to ask about it. All in all was a very good stay and felt right for the price :)

Nice quiet room, very qualified staff. Only thing, the kettle wasn’t in it’s best shape( horrible smell inside) I wouldn’t try to make a tea using it. Otherwise, Great value for the money!!

No frills hotel
Simple hotel right next to the river. the breakfast was very good and everyone was very helpful and friendly. The Hotel was exactly what I expected, no frills but with a good shower and a perfect placement. The restaurant next door was great and you can jog right along the river if that is your thing.

We arrived just as the restaurant downstairs was closing and apparently there are no exceptions. The guy at Reception seemed to think it was a big pain to have to tell us where there were some other places to eat, and neglected to give important info such as the fact that the nearest one did not take anything but cash. He also was making fun of some other other foreigners in the lobby meanwhile, not realizing that we could understand French. A person who is so unfriendly and unkind to guests should not be the front desk face at a hotel. Shame on the hotel for making our first encounter such a negative one--I would not recommend this place nor go back.

Hotel Campanile Nogent is located on the Marne River so the location is gorgeous and offers plenty of opportunity to walk and enjoy the local scenery. It is on the outskirts of Nogent, a 10 minute walk from the RER (area is serviced by train, not metro) and town center, and close to other restaurants and shops. The staff is friendly and professional, my room was clean but it was small. Once I had my suitcase in the room there was no spare space. Wifi was free and very fast, something I appreciated, and the hotel was very quiet and is in a quiet area. I did try the restaurant for breakfast, which was not that substantial, and dinner, which was good. There is no available parking other than on the street. Overall it would be a great hotel for a quiet stay and I would stay there again.

Our stay at Campanile was good and satisfactory for the one night we needed it for. When we arrived at the hotel for check-in, the front desk receptionist was not very pleasant and informed us that they could not check us in for another 2 hours because the hotel was full, even though we had a reservation. We had no problem waiting, but it was in the way she addressed us that we did not appreciate. Another gentleman at the hotel was kind enough to let us know they would accommodate as soon as possible and they got us a room within an hour. The rooms are clean and the restaurant is great, but the rooms are very small and the beds are hard (not very comfortable)! The location is quite far from the core of Paris but we only stayed one night so it wasn't a big deal for us. Would not stay here again and would prefer a closer hotel to the core of Paris for the price paid. Although, we needed a room last minute so it did the job.

A wonderful suprise in lovely Nogent-sur-Marne
This is one of the best Campaniles in the region. It is a modern hotel, great wi-fi (essential for business), wonderful view over the Marne river, local guinguette, great walk/jogging along the Marne for kilometers on end, local swimming pool and other sport facilities, restaurant on the water, Le Matelot, just great. The hotel has its own restaurant but I did not try it. It is a 10-minute uphill walk to the RER station and the centre of Nogent-sur-Marne (a very nice little town), and once in the train (frequent), 10-minutes from the centre of Paris. Large bathroom, a major plus, and an even major plus is a good-size modern walk-in shower. You can park for free in the surrounding streets, or you can pay €10 per day for secluded internal secure parking. The staff are great.

Wrong Location
This hotel was 18 miles away from the hotel I selected on your website. It took us an extra 2 hours to get there and back on the train each day. I do not plan to use hotels.com for future reservations.

hotel was great! cheap and very convenient. right next to the bus station to the metro- no taxi needed. very clean and VERY comfortable. only issue was there was no plug for our bathtub, and the toilet stopped working but we were immediately offered another room. would definitely stay here again!
