Beautiful hotel at the edge of the Marais and while you're there eat at Boffinger (next door)- you won't be disappointed.

Overall stay experience

Location is good. No heater or air conditioner because it was under central controlling. The cleaner didn’t top up shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and lotion.

Staff were all wonderful! And the rooms were lovely and cool as well - which was a bonus due to the humidity outside. We had switched hotels, because when we arrived in Paris and went to our previously booked rooms they were not as advertised - to say the least. We quickly made an exit and found rooms at Hotel Bastille Speria - what a marvellous find. The location is very central, the rooms beautifully appointed and the staff extremely helpful. I highly recommend this hotel. The only caveat would be that on our next visit, hopefully the lift will be in operating order, otherwise loved it.

Disappointment

Hello I arrived to the hotel and unfortunately it turned out that the elevator does not work and will not work for about a week!!! I realized that the elevator broke down before I arrived to the hotel. The hotel should have informed me of this in advance and prior to my arrival. They did give me a room on the first floor, but that didn't stop me from going up and down the stairs several times a day. To my opinion this is a scandal! There is a minimum of responsibility and respect between the hotel and its customers. I will not stay at this hotel again. And I will not recommend it to any of my friends and family!

Wonderful boutique hotel

What a great little boutique hotel! We loved this very clean and stylish hotel in a great area. We rented scooters outside the door , and explored the golden triangle ! Walking distance to some great areas. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Had a great continental breakfast and arranged for taxi to airport . We would come again and stay longer!

The hotel is very close a metro and great restaurants. We thought the breakfast was included but it isn’t. It is $16.99 Euro a person which is a lot. You could get better breakfasts elsewhere for cheaper. Generally the front desk and breakfast servers were friendly minus an older blond women who was very pushy and insisted we must book a taxi to the airport and not use Uber.

Great Stay!

Brilliant hotel in a fantastic location to explore Paris. Close to the Metro and right on top of loads of bars and restaurants. Highly recommend. The breakfast is also really good and a lovely fresh selection.

Really beautifully decorated little hotel. Good location for metro and just on the edge of the Marais. Room wasn’t quite as the picture to be honest (view of a wall rather than the pretty Juliet balcony on the website) which was a little disappointing but in retrospect it did mean it was very quiet at night! Staff were lovely and would definitely stay again.

Easy check in with very helpful English-speaking reception staff member. Decent sized room with excellent shower! Very comfortable and great, central location. Surprisingly quiet too, given how busy Bastille is.

Good location, great staff, nice sized rooms

Highly recommended. Great central location with easy access to metro. Large sized rooms for European standards and large bathroom. Everything very clean and tidy. Good water pressure and ample hot water. Windows kept noise out and heat worked well. Staff was friendly, multi lingual and helpful. Elevator was tiny but worked. Bed was comfortable. Daily cleaning was hassle free. A very special shout out and thank you to Cecilia at the frint desk for above and beyond service and all the staff were really great. Only minor issue was that not alll channels on tv worked but you're in Paris so who cares.

Excellent hotel, with a convenient location, just a few steps away from Bastille metro. We loved the front desk staff. We had a room with a beautiful view of the street. We would return and recommend the hotel to others.

We consistently get a wonderful welcome from this hotel and the staff goes out of its way to handle every request. The location can't be beat and the AC works even in the hottest of Paris weather. That's worth a recommendation alone. We love Bastille Speria and will be back again.

Incredible location, comfortable rooms, nice staff

This hotel is in an incredible location. A stone's throw from 6 restaurants and lots of life all around. It is very close to the metro and a quick walk to the heart of the Marais. The rooms are well equipped and the staff very friendly. I would definitely stay here again!

Great location and staff

Really great area right near the metro. Very kind, accommodating hotel staff. Room was a tad small for a deluxe but we were so busy seeing Paris it didn’t matter. I would suggest trying to book a corner room. Will return again!

Amazing and helpful staff, beautiful boutique hotel, so close (10-15 minute walk) to Le Marais which is an amazing area for dinner options, close to the Metro (Bastille), great restaurant next door Bofinger for first night recommended by the hotel, great Boulangerie and Creperie down the street. Would definitely recommend staying here although keep in mind it is not walkable to the main attractions (would need to take the Metro or bus and then walk), which was fine for us because we wanted to be outside the touristy area.
