First impressions were not promising; not what we would call a 'resort'. But we took a little 'chalet' looking over the gardens and beach and could not have been happier. Delightful simplicity.
Hadi, the chef, served up some delicious and unique dishes at breakfast and took lunch and dinner orders each morning. Our evening meals were sourced from that morning's market and made into great dinners with special flavours by Hadi and his staff.
All the staff at Sandy Beach went out of their way to make our stay there as interesting, or relaxing, as we wanted.
People on Pangkor Island are just so proud of their home and their enthusiasm is catching. Highly recommended.
