"We really enjoyed this hotel. It was an easy walk to many restaurants, chateaus and the Sunday Market along the river. Coming back from our outings felt like coming home to our own mini chateau. The room was very large and comfortable. The toilet was a long distance from the separate sink/shower but we found this to be the case in a few of the hotels we stayed at in France outside of Paris. There was no curtain on the bathroom window which made me a little uncomfortable, but that’s just me....

"Our experience with this stay was our favorite. The proprietor was so nice, very willing and happy to share his love of the place and how much he loved making the property sustainable. We would stay there again for sure. Our one regret was that we only stayed one night. "Atmospheric Chateau but in need of a little upgrading. Staff were great and very helpful. Grounds were excellent to walk round. Breakfast was quite reasonable but dinner was poor value.
