"The Spit is a short walk through the gate at the back of the property, along a safe track to the beach. The view off the balcony was amazing. I loved listening to the waves crashing onto the beach, the birds in the trees, and seeing the sunrises and sunsets. "

Apartment was a little tired and could do with a few paint touch ups, wifi was intermittent and the spa bath didn't work but management were on to that. "I have stayed at the Mantra for many years from when it opened for family holidays, weekends away, single night work trips and even staged a conference at the property one year. It's a great location however it is starting to feel a little tired. I was in a 1st floor apartment this visit and it was fine, however there was a bad smell of stale smoke. I don't know if it was a previous guest or if smoke just drifts in from other rooms/floors (I usually have the balcony door open). I will probably...

"We loved our stay, great position, managers are fantastic people working under a lot of duress, owners of unit need to aim up and spend to get the unit up to a standard. A refurb for some units, is definitely overdue. Once that is done we will return"
