We arrived very late as our Uber Driver got lost. We were exhausted and only had 2 hour to sleep before getting up to fly out. The office was closed and no one answered the number on the Expedia site. Finally I hit Emergency only button that retrieved a VERY ANGRY women that said they didn’t allow checking in after 8:30pm. It was not on site and she said Expedia sometimes doesn’t put that…not my fault I need to sleep for a bit. Got 1 hour and 15 minutes rest woke by a person in another room. Everything was clean but outdated looked like pre 80’s. Nasty Manager/Owner.

Hi April, Thank you for your review. Let's start with the truth shall we. You booked with Expedia, which clearly states that our office closes at 8.30pm (which you actually admitted that you did not look at). It also gives you the option to tell us your arrival time. You arrived at 1.45am, 1h later than intended, so still after midnight. What I actually said was that we are not given your emails details to be able to contact you. Had you contacted our office to inform us of your late arrival we would have made the necessary arrangements. I was not angry, in fact the opposite. Noise from the heavy truck at early hours of the morning. It would be good to have a door between the kitchen and bathroom. Overall I would stay there again in the future.

A brief stopover after the Spirit of Tasmania trip
Its a good place to park after the sea journey. Late night check-in was handled well. It was clean and very comfortable, bedding was great. Good internet which did not always happen in the places we stayed in Tassie. Would stay there again. Thoroughly recommend this motel. Pete and Claire

Fantastic friendly staff. Family run business!!! Room was of great size, comfy bed, good size bathroom, bar fridge, free WiFi, tea and coffee etc, microwave easy parking outside your room. Room was quiet with the exception of noise coming from the next door room, as it was a connecting room before and was blocked off, however noise still comes thru. We were so tired so it didn't bother us much
