Rooms are large, clean and no road noise, the bathroom had a spa bath. Great place for a relaxing overnight stay.

The manager/owner of the property went above and beyond to assist in refunding my money, even though I had booked a non refundable rate. I had booked the or to stay during the recent power outage after a terrible storm. We expected to be out of power for several days. Thankfully it was only out 2 days, but I had booked longer - the owner happily assisted my refund.

The room was clean and bed comfortable. Good parking outside room. The bathroom fairly newly renovated. Water dangerously hot, l think above safety level. The TV ON switch beside bed lamp switch was not obvious to elderly eyes, but staff advised. The standard lamp and one bedside lamp not working. Only one fork in cutlery.

For a short stay it is very convenient as has almost everything you need in a room, as most don't have a (microwave and a toaster) kettle, with tea, coffee & sugar, 4 small milk capsules, but no biscuits unfortunately. And no snack bar or breakfast provided at all either.

Stayed one night due to work. The room was very clean and functional. Linens were crisp and I had everything I needed. The compendium needs updating though - one of the featured restaurants closed several years ago. I could hear the traffic from Maroondah highway (was in a room close to the road), but it was not a deal breaker. Good wifi and easy checkin.

I stay here often when travelling for work to Melbourne - Easy to get, local parking is a big bonus, good bed and shower. Having a microwave helps with dinner options. Nothing fancy but good value for a couple of nights stay.

I stayed at this property 4 years ago, I will never stay tgwre again. The dirt ring in the bath tub. I payed for a spa room,but it was dirty. Information book needs to be updated. Hole's in the linen. The room was just dirty. I wiped all touch points as it was dirty.

Excellent location, quiet and large room
Conveniently located on Maroondah Hwy but very quiet. No road noise. 8 min walk to Karralyka theatre and 15 min drive to Yarra Valley. Large room, large bathroom. Microwave and toaster a nice bonus. Aircon/ heater effivient and quiet. Polite and friendly check in staff.

We stayed in an Executive Spa Room. It was clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable, with extra pillows in the cupboard. Only complaint is that I feel that the rooms and the garden need work. Rooms need to be modernised and the garden is shabby.

An older property a little shabby but bed was comfortable, water hot, on main road yet quiet, spa bath, that worked, shower over was pleasant surprise. Was what we needed re price and position at time we were there.

A nice place to stay. However, housekeeping attempted to open the door at 9:30am, knocking I.e. half an hour before check out. The knocking kept on till exact 10:00am asking me that that was the time for housekeeping to make the room. Felt way too pushy expecting, rather forcing, to check out even before the check out time. That was not a pleasant experience.

The reception staff were really rude. The room itself stank of cigarette smoke. Tried to open a window and the fly screen was ripped from the window. Shower was missing hot and cold tap indicators. The fire alarm had been removed. The latch for the door was missing a screw and wasn’t secure. The bath was really dirty. It was a terrible experience where I really wanted to leave as felt unsafe and the room stank. Only stayed as I was unable to contact anyone for a refund and the only person to call was the reception staff and they were horrible to deal with. I got out of there as soon as I could in the morning. Do not ever book there it was gross and I felt unsafe.

A room for 3 was booked and prepaid. There was only a queen bed in the room. Due to the floods, the second and third persons could not attend. When staff were approached regarding a refund for the missing third bed, it was refused. Even if a trundle bed could have been provided for the third person, that is not what was booked and prepaid for. This is false advertising. Apart from that, the room was dated, run down and not very clean. There was also a lot of road noise.
