The hotel is located about 35-40 minutes from Jamaa el-Fnaa walking, you can take a taxi but be prepared to pay different fares there and back. There are two reception areas, one at the rear and one at the front, it is a large property. I found the rear reception was very helpful while the front reception, were less so. The hotel employees are bilingual (which I am not ☹) and the predominant language you will hear or be addressed in is French unless of course you are or speak Arabic. The room pictures on Expedia are not comparable, while there I do believe that the hotel was undergoing some refurbishments, to address the tried look and feel to the hotel rooms. The shower head in my room needed descaling and or replacing, the moulding around the bathtub needs removing and remoulding. The bed was comfortable and the cleaning crew who were onsite daily were helpful.

I picked this property solely on parking being include - it was not. There is random parking in an alley but that was “full” with three cars - of course! It’s an alley! There solution was “too bad” good luck finding street parking. I had to find a parking garage during rush hour, which was insane. The property isn’t worth false advertisement and useless staff - pass on this place, with parking or not.

Again for that price you're not gonna get excellent service, but compared to others in the similar price range, this hotel beat out all its competitors. It's well located, with a good front desk service, the rooms are nice, with a little balcony area, water is clean, wifi works, and hotel has TV, serves breakfast (although not great), with a nice swimming pool that is well-lit at night. I give it an overall 4 stars, and I would stay there again if I ever go to Marrakech again.

Nice hotel in Gueliz
Very pleasant but dated hotel but great value and everything in the room worked perfectly. Breakfast was standard and plentiful and staff super efficient and friendly. Pool and relaxing area a bonus, just a lovely hotel close to restaurants with cuisines to suit any pocket. People have complained about the bars on this road being noisy! I found it perfectly bearable compared to other countries. All in all a gem.

Extorted MAD100 more for local taxes at Check in; I bought bottled water from a shop and the manager pulled out a faded notice to tell me guests were barred from doing so; erratic water supply to my room the whole time. I got so frustrated I just couldn’t be bothered to shower.

Treatment from management awful, informed outside window sliding doors did not lock, was told it would be fine not to worry. Room was not clean, curtains and bedspread had stains. Bringing water and food into the hotel was not allowed and taken away-forced to buy from the hotel. Stayed one night and moved to a safer hotel.

Horrible hotel - toilet did not flush properly, wifi was very poor, bathroom kept flooding and over service from staff was poor. I do not recommend this hotel at all.

Great hotel, food and alcohol all good. Does get quiet at 12pm but around the corner from the main square. Was a solo traveler and it is more for couples but everyone’s friendly so no big deal. Recommend

Nothing great, staff were not very welcoming or helpful. Room smelt like gas or paraffin. On the day we were to check out by noon. Someone came to clean at 9:30am, which meant leaving out room whilst they cleaned before we were fully packed up and ready to leave. Overall not the best experience.
