Worst Experience! Beware both guests and Hotel.com
DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY. We had two major issues related to amenities: No hot water and No air-conditioner or heating. The receptionist was the rudest guy we ever met. When we complained about these two issues, told us . We probably would have left, had we not been ill on that day. However, another guy comes in and promised us to give another room on day 2. On day 2, we were told that the manager was not there yet and asked us to wait. Day 2 was gone. On day 3, not having a bath for 3 days due to lack of hot water, and sleeplessness due to the lack of proper heating, we dared not to ask anymore and decided to leave the hotel before our schedule. We claimed a refund for our last two days, but according to Hotels.com the property denied the request. And there are a number of minor issues: broken toilet seat, tissue holder.. electronic door key-card that does not work most of the times, toilet and bathroom doors that do not close properly…… Hotels.com has been supportive, but Hotels.com should ban this property from their list. The way I see it, I paid Hotels.com for 3 nights of my stay with a/c and hot water, which I did not get. And Hotels.com failed to collect refund for me. So, even though, Hotels.com generously offered me coupon, for the sake of the next customers of Hotels.com, this property should be banned for breaching contracts and providing service with impolite, rude personnel.

Hotel service is very poor this time around. Spa is closed, gym is out of order, balcony cheers had a nail sticking out of it on both chairs, balcony table covered in dust. Me and my friend went down to reception 4 times in two days to complain to get new chairs and they ignored us and didnt change it. We asked for two glasses for our room for the alcohol and everyday they turned us away saying we dnt have many glasses in hotel

This is a complete shamble. The hotel is not fit for staying from all angles , hygiene far belw standard. Old nothing is working including light, tabs in the toilet, shower not working. It should be reported to the local authorities to close it. There is no light inthe Communal area people are using torch. This complete theft.

The good; Room was good size. Plenty of space and various sittings. Pool is large and so clean. Area around the pool is large and relaxing. Breakfast is ok. Good security and plenty of nice parking spaces if you have a car. Staff are friendly. The bad: Room lightning needs an upgrade. Some power outlets are not working or broken. Bidet is not stable. Overall i was happy with my stay.

It is apparent that the hotel at one time was quite lovely with large rooms, large reception areas, and a garden. But it is in desperate need of renovation. My room was clean luckily (others were not) but the carpet was worn with what appeared to be burned in footprints, worn tired towels, unreliable WiFi (was there on business), dimly lit hallways at night (if at all). My toilet was obviously not cleaned after my first night (but was thereafter). Breakfast is included but very limited options. Hotel is on a small street which also needs repair and other hotels in immediate area seem to be vacant. I hear Semiramis is seeking new ownership. Hopefully so with full renovation as there is definite potential to make the hotel great.

Clean but dated. The pool was great , free towels and loungers . No safe in the room , and no air con so I wouldn’t want to be here in the summer . Food at dinner was limited but very good.

It has a nice view but not very good service. The air conditioner doesn’t work and the room is full of ants. Also the hotel become quite old and needs to be renovated. We booked breakfast in the hotel but everyday they give the same repetitive food and no new types of varieties. However the view outside is very natural and has a big pool. Overall the experience was ok but I do not redeem it acceptable .

As the hotel was listed as a 4 star establishment, I believed it would be much better than it was. For starters, the rooms were terribly unclean. I had mold in the shower and paint peeling off the walls. There were holes in the carpet and the entire room felt extremely dirty. I kept my sandals on the entire time I was in the room. The rooms look nothing like the pictures provided on the websites and I was extremely disappointed with the overall experience. As I had to pay before being shown the room and hotel, I was unable to get my money back, but if I had been able, I would have changed hotels the first day of my trip. Although the included breakfast was tasty, it had very little option and the same food was served each morning which got very repetitive. I don't often leave reviews, but I wanted to warn people looking at staying in the hotel that just because it has a 4 star review does not mean it looks like the available pictures.

This is a quite and safe hotel to stay in. Markets and reataurants are a short drive away. Breakfast is delicious! Reception staff could improve by smiling and welcoming guests with a little bit more enthusiasm. Electronic safe in room # 123 did not work. Overall, this hotel provides a great value for the money! Keep it up!

First impressions are so important, Sadly the people at reception let this place down. You get the feeling they are doing you a favour. When we arrived at the room it hadn't been cleaned and we were asked to wait !! I insisted they allocate us a room that was ready and were given an inferior room. I should add that this was after 5pm.

This is one amazing place to stay in Marrakech. It is close to one of the major routes into the centre of Marrakech - so in a great location, with bus route no. 1 close by. There are expensive taxis, as normal for nice hotels, right outside, but taxis can be found at more reasonable cost in the busier roads nearby, with negotiation of course. There is an AMAZING swimming pool and an AMAZING garden around the back past the pool, also, a playground for kids in this garden (this is really good for people with young children to know about) For options re. food, if the hotel menu doesn't have what you would like, or you fancy a change, plenty of choice in restaurants around, including Bingoz.Breakfast is ok, although, be there early if you like cheese as that runs out. The people working here are extremely pleasant, responsive (always good for customer service) and very helpful. Although one day I tried to get a coffee inside the bar by the pool. I must have been invisible? After what seemed too a long wait, I decided to give up as that is not what you expect. The rooms are comfortable and clean. The hotel has a lot of character, being older, it has lovely features, like berber carpet in the hallways. This place is extremely reasonable for the price which makes it manageable for a limited budget, and with the delightful pool and garden, a real treasure - HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - this is an outstanding gem of a place to stay.

The ratings are clearly based off of the decor of the hotel but not for the rooms themselves they where all unclean and dingy. The bed sheets where dirty and we asked for new sheets and they where evenmore dirty than the first sheets. The furniture was also very dirty and old along with the fridges however they where cold and did work. We also had problems with calling the front desk from our rooms as they would not answer majority of the times, we often needed to go down to the front desk for anything. The aircon was terrible they either didnt work or they would only hit one area within the room and we had to change rooms as there was a disgusting smell in the morning that smelt like the drains. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The breakfast was okay. Swimming pool looked nice but never had the chance to use it.

Our air conditioning did not work, or when it did work it was very weak and hardly cooled the room down at all. There was very poor communication from the staff when checking in, we did not get told that the Buffett dinner was included in our stay, so for 2 nights we were buying dinners at the other part of the restaurant to only find out on our third night that there was a buffet that was included. There never seemed to be towels in the rooms and when asked for a new towel it was very time consuming. Restaurant staff were friendly and helpful

Never stay at Semiramis Marrakech
It was a horrible experience , 1st of all when we arrive , they told us there is working AC. Marrakech is very hot and they don’t have AC :). The receptionist was very rude, she told us I could let you go up without telling you about AC problem , Then you will feel hot and come to complain. 2nd After 1 hour fighting , the manager comes and tell us wait we have a room with partially working AC. After they clean the room, they told us there is no cover for the duvet and we have to accept it without cover as all in the laundry !! 3rd they give us 1 towel for 2 persons and ask us to wait until night to bring the 2nd because there are no more stock !! 4th and last problem in just our 2 night reservation , I got a rented car , I suppose to put it in the hotel parking , I come after midnight they told me the park is complete and you have to stay outside, I said okey there is no problem. When I go outside a watch man in the area told me the whole are is rented by me from the municipality and you have to pay me for 1 night stay !!! I ask the hotel how come the parking fits for almost around 50 cars (the number I see by eyes) and you have more rooms and even they don’t want to cover the parking cost outside .They told me it’s not our problem. I never recommend this hotel to any one. Very rude stuff and not helpful at all, They room itself is so old and so dusty floors.

A big, comfortable and welcoming hotel in Gueliz
Maybe not ideal, but this hotel definitely stands from the crowd of city hotels in Gueliz (one of the modern parts of Marrakech). It's a huge property, with even bigger and beautiful green garden, restricted access and parking inside the boundaries. The rooms are really spacious, clean and comfortable, and you can really feel as a special guest there. My only little problem was with the curtains in my room that looked like after a lion attack (not allowing me to close them completely and allowing the Sun to wake me up early), but apart from that the only distraction was some unknown to me bird species that didn't want to sleep until after midnight. Other than that this place is amazingly quiet and gives you a great night sleep. WiFi is not great, but does the job. The parking is big and you can always have a place there - no matter how late you arrive. The hotel is easily accessible by car - only the last 150 m are some not very well paved street, but nothing to be worried about.

although not very clean, the property is acceptable for its cost and proximity. However, the staff at the checking needs a LOT of training concerning dealing with clients and respect of privacy. The breakfast area and the people working there is what is the most attractive even though at the front gate a privately restaurant provides much better breakfast and more for much less. Yes I may go back to this hotel, because of its proximity to University.
